Too slow, 1 dimensional, and frankly unfair to be fun. The biggest delay you have progressing comes from the fact that enemies get to shoot you while moving but you cannot shoot them, meaning they can keep your shield from ever being able to regen and you can do nothing about it. It just feels so incredibly cheap.
Pretty fun little idle game. Plenty to do with stuff that unlocks as you go to new places. Cool buffs for doing certain things. The crafting system is pretty rad. The music is relaxing and chill. It's not overly complex, it's not too simple, it feels just right. I left it running while I was away to see if it was any different than if I went afk and came back to use idle time, so it feels pretty well balanced. Overall I think it's a great little game. I dig it so far.
The first little stretch of the game you'll need to micromanage and hang out to level up things like your weapons, and drones, so that you aren't advancing to enemies too difficult. However, once you establish some upgrades and get yourself in a good place, progress goes smooth like butter. I would suggest concentrating on hanging away from "auto advance" till you can get yourself past your first set of skill points. Once you start crafting equipment and getting your points up, you'll advance much easier.
I hope they add some more content as times goes on, but even for what it is, there's plenty to explore for a while. It seems like it may take a while to unlock everything, which honestly I appreciate because there's been a growing number of "hyper idlers" (at least that's what I'd call them) where they last a few hours and it's over. This seems to have enough content to go for some time.
