Hey everyone, first of all, a big thank you! eCommerce '99 just hit 999 wishlists (well, actually, we're already past 1K, but we just really like 9s for some reason!).We're so grateful to everyone who has wishlisted the game, shown interest in what we're making, or liked, shared, and followed our content across all our channels. Every bit of support means a lot to us, especially as a small team working on our first game. Thank you for being part of this journey with us!This is our first dev diary here on Steam. We build a lot of this out in the open on our weekly stream, so every other week we will round up what changed. Here is where things landed. This week your workers got a case of the MondaysYour floor workers now have motivation. They start the day keen and slowly run out of steam, moving slower as the hours drag on. Pay them well and they start higher. Underpay and they are dragging by lunch. You can now hire as many as you like, but your HR capacity matters. Staff past it and motivation slips, so a small happy crew can out-ship a big miserable one. A kind word helps too. Praise a worker and their morale ticks back up. Fancier machines are on the way, because an espresso machine should obviously pour faster than drip. The current one is very 90s and very brutalist. It is a placeholder, and we kind of love it. Multiplayer: we are looking into it, for realThis is the one a lot of you keep asking for. The honest version: eCommerce '99 was not built as a multiplayer game from the start, so we are not going to pretend it is a flip of a switch. But the demand is loud, so we have started testing m...
