A saloon full of sneaky whiskers, where chameleons are bonus loot
Even with a personal bias against dusty boots and tumbleweeds, this one won me over fast. It’s a classic hidden cat hunt dressed in Wild West flair, and it knows exactly what it wants to be. Each level drops you into a lively scene packed with cats just waiting to be spotted, and every successful find is rewarded with an adorable meow.
There’s a generous amount of content for the price, with 8 levels each hosting 80 cats, for a grand total of 640 furballs to uncover. On top of that, every level hides 3 chameleons, adding a bit of visual variety to the routine. The hint system recharges quickly every 30 seconds and doesn’t punish you for using it, except for a single level tied to full completion. Most of the time, hints feel optional anyway, since the cats and chameleons are usually hanging out in plain sight rather than playing serious hide-and-seek.
The experience is smooth and friendly. You can skip the tutorial, progress is saved properly, and the soundtrack fits the setting without getting distracting. There’s also a timed achievement asking you to clear a level in under 3 minutes, which injects a tiny bit of pressure into an otherwise stress-free game. Still, this is very much a relaxed stroll rather than a test of sharp eyes.
It’s on the shorter side, but it never feels unfairly priced, especially if you enjoy this kind of cozy HOG gameplay. If you’re curious but hesitant, trying the developer’s free El Dorado entry first is a good way to see if this style clicks with you. Not a genre-defining must-have, but an enjoyable, cat-filled detour that’s easy to recommend to hidden object fans.
