Dev Log #1 – System Stability & Guidance UpdateHello everyone,First of all, a huge thank you to those who have tested the first alpha and shared their feedback. Your reports are essential in helping this experiment grow. Here is what’s new in the latest update:1. Bug Fixes & UI PolishingInput Blocking: Fixed the "click-through" issue where interacting with documents or letters would accidentally trigger objects in the background.System Stability: Fixed a bug where the L.U.N.A menu would become unresponsive after exiting the DIAG or PROCESS modules.2. New Feature: Startup Protocols I’ve heard your concerns about the game’s cryptic nature. While L.U.N.A is intended to be a journey of self-discovery where being "lost" is part of the experience, I understand it can be frustrating for some.I have added a Startup Choice at the beginning of the game:Total Immersion: The original, cryptic experience. No hand-holding.Initial Assistance: At the risk of slightly spoiling the mystery, this option provides a brief overview of the gameplay loop and your objectives. This is for those who are intrigued by the world but afraid of missing the path. The choice is yours.3. A Reminder on the Nature of the Game L.U.N.A: Ghost in the Machine is an experimental, slow-paced experience. It is meant to be played in short bursts over several days. Patience and observation are your best tools.Stay curious.— Romain

02/23/2026I will update it over time.🔹How many people are working on this project?Just like for my former project Emergency Exit, I am working alone on this game.🔹When should the game be released?I don't have a precise date yet, but I'm crossing my fingers for a release at the end of October.🔹Will a demo be available?Of course, possibly during the summer.🔹 The game unfolds in real time, what does that mean? The game simply follows your computer’s clock (according to your time zone). If it’s 7:00 PM for you, it’s 7:00 PM in the game. So 24 hours in real life equals 24 hours in the game, and days follow one another naturally.🔹 Do I need to keep the game running all the time? No. No. No.The game is designed for a semi-active pace: ideally, you should check in daily, though you can play less frequently if you prefer. It’s similar to a Tamagotchi : there's no need to be glued to your screen 24/7. However, to get the most out of the experience, we recommend checking in regularly.Like any game, it’s best enjoyed when you’re fully engaged with it.🔹 What if I have a busy schedule? The time you spend will of course influence your experience, but you will not be punished if you play less than others. Think of it this way: your neighbor might simply have more narrative details to share, but it remains the same story. 😉 Again, the game only requires short daily sessions.🔹 I’m worried about missing something important (events at specific hours, etc.)! Don’t worry: there won’t be any unique, vital events you could miss just because you were away for a moment. In fact, you could barely play at all during the 30 days and you would still get an ending, just a different one.🔹 What happens after 30 7 days? Do you really want to know the end of a movie before watching it? 🎬🔹 The Steam page mentions nods to cinema history. What if I don’t know anything about movies? That’s absolutely fine. You might miss a few references, but nothing will block your progress. I’m not an expert either, ju...
