Build a criminal empire in 1920s New York by managing 20 different rackets, gambling at underground establishments, and eliminating rival mobsters to climb the syndicate hierarchy. The game combines incremental progression with narrative choices that lead to multiple endings, making it ideal for players who want idle gameplay wrapped in a period crime story.

Interesting art-style and if you want to play efficiently you can breeze through the ascension levels, at least if you're good at tracking cards.
The gambling mini-games were an interesting addition to the usual incremental formulae.
I'd been looking forward to this one ever since I tried the demo. If you're unsure, try the demo, the full game is more of the same of that, it don't evolve much more than that though. I can forgive that though at it's low price.
Pretty decent incremental game, certainly not the best, but I'd say above average.
Since launch, one request has come through clearly in the feedback: after becoming the Don, many players wanted to remain in the city and continue building their syndicate. Streetlight Syndicate was designed as a complete story with a definitive ending. That has not changed; but now, earning that ending can open the door to something more. ENTER EMPIRE MODEEarn the good ending and become the Don to unlock Empire Mode, an optional postgame that preserves your completed campaign and lets your organization continue growing. In Empire Mode, you can: Face all nine rival hitmen in repeating, increasingly difficult cyclesEarn scaling Notoriety from defeated rivalsPurchase four long-term Empire expansion ranksRaise every racket’s maximum level by 10 with each Empire rankUnlock two additional purchasable gun levels with each rankContinue purchasing any owner stories you missed during the campaignSwitch between Action and Chill music while running your empireThe campaign still has a beginning, middle, and end. Empire Mode is what comes afterward for players who want to keep going. THREE SAVE SLOTSThe update also introduces three independent save slots. Your existing full-game save will be placed into Slot 1 automatically. If that save has already earned the good ending, Empire Mode will be available immediately. The additional slots can be used to pursue alternate endings, complete achievements, or start again without sacrificing your original syndicate. ACHIEVEMENT CHANGESAchievement requirements have been reworked so that full completion can be earned through a good-ending campaign and continued in Empire Mode. The bad ending is no longer required for full completionFull Story now reflects the good ending, all owner stories, and all rival bossesThe City Never Sleeps is awarded for completing an Empire cycleThe Empire expansion branch is not required for Cornered the Market OTHER IMPROVEMENTSExpanded large-number support for long-running empiresBoost now increases weapon dam...
