The Neeblarium is a low-pressure artificial life simulator where you design habitats and observe digital creatures evolve across generations. As populations develop naturally, you'll witness genetic drift, trait inheritance, and emergent social behaviors—making it as much science experiment as interactive art piece. It appeals to players seeking meditative gameplay with genuine educational depth about evolution and biology.

This game strikes a great balance between ASMR and Science Project. I think it should be used as a class project for kids all over, especially as they learn about genetics and social structure management. Love it!

v0.8.0.1790: Your first bloom, sooner!

Your first bloom, sooner Keepers, a small update with a big change to your first half hour. Some of you told us the early game felt like a long wait, and that the Lab seemed out of reach when every Neeblie was Common. You were right on both counts, and we found why: a mating cooldown meant for after a birth was also being applied to Neeblies who had never bred at all. No matter how ready a young pair looked, nothing could happen for roughly twenty minutes. That is fixed. What's changed Founders' Bloom. The first eggs from your Foundational Strain now grow up quickly and pair off within a few minutes of hatching, so your colony's first live birth is something you'll see, not something you'll wait for. The Lab opens with new life. The Lab now unlocks the moment your colony has its first live birth. You no longer need an Uncommon to get inside. Genome Capture comes next. Discover an Uncommon rarity and the Lab's Genome Capture unlocks, letting you preserve thriving Neeblies as blueprints and encode them into new eggs. A little guidance along the way. Hover the locked Lab tool to see how close your first pair is to blooming. If you've already been running a habitat and had a live birth before this update, the Lab will be waiting for you when you load in. A small invitation Start a fresh bed, place a couple of Foundational eggs, and stay a while. Watch them grow. The first new life in a colony is one of the quiet moments this game is built around, and it should never be the reason someone walks away. Thank you for your patience and your honesty. Keep telling us where the waiting feels long.

Update 0.8.0! A More Living World

The Neeblarium Major Update is here Keepers, this is a big one. I’ve spent the last several months touching a lot of the game: Neeblie behavior, toys, research, early-game pacing, the Lab Bot, save/profile handling, UI scaling, and a pile of smaller fixes that should make the habitat feel smoother and more alive. What changedNeeblies are more playful, curious, and believable around toys.Toys have better discovery, dragging, tidying, carrying, and save/load behavior. Research and unlocks should feel more earned, especially around enrichment, superfoods, and the Lab Bot. The Lab Bot has new upgrade paths like Genetic Flagging and Discovery Assist.Early guidance is calmer and better paced, with fewer popup piles.Births, blooms, discoveries, and colony moments are easier to notice.Saves, lineage data, bed removal, threaded simulation, and profile handling have all been hardened.UI scaling, start screen layout, icons, and fresh profile tools got a cleanup pass. A quick note before you jump in Because this update touches so much old colony/profile/save logic, there are probably bugs. Some existing profiles may behave strangely too. If something feels off, starting with a fresh profile may be the cleanest path. That said, I’m really excited about this update. The Neeblarium is getting closer to the game I want it to be: strange, cozy, a little surprising, and full of tiny stories happening when you’re not looking. Please send feedback, bug reports, weird moments, confusing moments, and anything that feels good or bad. Every bit of it helps make the game better. Thanks for taking care of these odd little lives.

New build! 04.20

It's been a while, but excited to share a new build. The Neeblarium feels a little more alive. Neeblies now have more small moments, sounds, memories, growth beats, and colony milestones to notice as you care for them. Toys got a big comfort pass: they can be placed, picked up, returned to the tray, saved properly, and even tidied back home by helpful adult Neeblies when they wander too far. The inspection lens has been polished into a clearer, cozier study tool, with better placement over your Neeblie and a more natural feel. This update also adds gentler onboarding hints, improved language support, cleaner options, safer saves, better backup recovery, and a handful of UI comfort fixes for readability and accessibility.
