Short, pricey, and deeply unrelaxing
This is my first Laush Studio game, and I am thoroughly disappointed. The concept is clear and honestly fine: find all 100 bones in a single image and you’re done. Plenty of hidden object games work exactly like that. The problem is everything surrounding that idea.
First off, most of the “bones” aren’t really bones. They’re paws vaguely shaped like bones, which makes the search feel cheap and confusing rather than clever. The screen is also full of constant animations you can’t turn off, which quickly becomes exhausting. The music itself isn’t bad, but it’s very upbeat, and combined with all that movement, it completely kills any chance of a calm search experience.
Controls don’t help either. There’s no mouse movement at all, only WASD, and movement speed changes depending on how zoomed in you are, which feels awkward and imprecise. Zoom exists and works, but it messes with navigation more than it helps. The only settings available are sound options, and those are locked behind the main menu. Worse, going back to the main menu resets the hint timer every time, which is just annoying. Speaking of hints, they recharge, but they straight up give you the answer, no subtlety whatsoever.
Then there’s the value problem. The whole thing takes about 10 minutes to clear, and for the price asked, that feels wildly off. Achievements don’t help either. You get nothing while playing, and then once you find the 100 “bones”, the game dumps 10 achievements on you all at once. No progression, no logic, no satisfaction. It feels empty and soulless.
I didn’t enjoy this at all. Nothing about it felt relaxing, thoughtful, or fun, and the lack of basic QoL features makes it hard to excuse. Even the cheapest HOGs manage to do better, so at this price point, this one is simply not worth your time, nor money. If you don't mind the lack of relaxing elements in a HOG, take a look at Silktrails 2 instead, which is an hour long and has a way better vibe for the same price.
