Mushroom Nook lets you passively collect and tend to a variety of mushrooms that appear on your desktop, tapping them periodically for currency to expand your fungal collection. You decorate your terrarium with furniture and objects to create a personalized cozy space that runs in the background while you work or game, with regular updates adding new species and customization options. It appeals to idle game fans and collectors who want a low-pressure, fungi-focused alternative to typical incremental games.

I love shaking down my mushrooms for money every time I take a break from work. My second monitor has become a mushroom terrarium and I am the mighty mushroom prodder. Finally a game with actual mushrooms instead of mushroom-waifus. Fungi are awesome. Cordyceps got a whole video game franchise. The rest of the fungi at least deserve a cozy idle game.
Also, I need a little slug critter that shakes down the mushrooms for money and slowly collects it for me. Maybe multiple slug critters. Maybe even isopods if one were brave enough. They can eat from a designated trough that I occasionally drop mushrooms into. Something like that.
I absolutely love this game! I bought it while it was on sale and I love it so much that I would buy it at full price many times over. The freedom to decorate and tend to whatever little mushrooms you please is absolutely wondrous, and there are oh so many to choose from. Mushroom Nook is also still being updated with more decorations and little shroomy friends, and I am very excited for it! The game runs well in the background and is pretty intuitive to play. You can interact with it as much or as little as you please and all the glow in the dark mushrooms are super pretty. Strongly recommend to anybody who enjoys pixel graphics and low stress cozy games. This is the kind of game that is built to accompany you through a podcast, youtube video, or as you write an essay. I cannot iterate this enough, I strongly recommend!
⁺˚⋆。°🍄₊I love these little idle games that play in the background. They are very fun for me while I play my main games. I love collecting things and as a fungi lover, I love the idea of collecting lil mushrooms in a chill relaxing idle game. I look forward to future updates, I really want more furniture options! I could see this going really far! I hope that maybe in the future we could get achievements for finding new mushroom species, even steam badges or point shop cosmetics? I love the variety of mushrooms and I love the changing backgrounds and weather elements! The music is super relaxing and beautiful as well! The little popping sound it makes when you collect money is also satisfying! I hope to see more fun updates for this game!!! ⁺˚⋆。°🍄₊
If you're sure you've met all the conditions (unlocked every mushroom and purchased each decoration at least once), but still can't unlock that last achievement, please hang tight – we're looking into it.We apologize for this technical hiccup. We already pushed a fix in this update, but it seems some players are still affected. We're continuing to work on it and we will get it sorted out – rest assured! In the meantime, feel free to enjoy the new mushrooms while we get the fix ready!
1, Most of these new mushrooms are based on enthusiastic submissions from players in our QQ group – they're super fresh and fun! Truly amazing and creative ideas!2, We've added a small new feature: the UI no longer automatically closes when you take out a mushroom. (You can find this toggle on the Mushroom Storage page.)3, Fixed a bug where some achievements couldn't be unlocked.Upcoming updates (in order):More new little animals – bumblebees, froggies, and little birdsMore new decorations
If you are sure that you have met the conditions (unlocked all mushrooms, purchased each type of ornament at least once), but still cannot unlock the last achievement, please open the in-game shop page (the page where you buy mushrooms and ornaments) and wait for a while. The achievement should then unlock! This issue occurs because we placed the achievement completion check inside the shop page, so without opening the shop, the game cannot determine if the achievement has been met. This problem has been fixed and will be patched in the next update. For now, please use the method above (if it still doesn't work, please wait for next week's update)! We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused to players! Thank you for reporting this issue to us! Wishing everyone lots of joy!
