Every few years Gravity just re-skins the same Ragnarok mobile game, throws a new title on it, and acts like it’s some big reinvention. Eternal Love, Origin, now “The New World”… it’s literally the same formula with slightly better graphics and a different name. Same grind, same cash shop nonsense, same everything.

Edit: To be fair and not miss out on the second class (often where Ragnarok starts to get good), I played for more a couple hours and managed to reach it. Throughout this journey, the gameplay pace was lightning fast, there's an experience limit in the grind, and the game revolves around a main questline. If you spend all your energy during the 24 hours of the day, you CANNOT gain more experience, simple as that, unless, of course, you pay. Gacha mechanics, automatic grinding (offline if you pay), and a shop full of boost options with real money. One system I liked is the fact that you can forge items, which can come in various rarities, and transfer the refinements and improvements from your old item to a new, eventually better one.
I don't have much positive to say about this game; it's a waste of time. Made for the alienated and brainwashed Eastern MMO audience.
3rd party launcher requires creating a non-Steam account to login...so why even bother launch on Steam, which allows developers to use Steam as a 3rd-party logon? Clearly they want your email for some other purpose...
