The Long Drift is a space-themed idle game where you construct and enhance a small universe while watching it gradually evolve. Progression starts slowly but accelerates once you unlock prestige mechanics, offering the satisfying feedback loop of expanding numbers that idle fans seek. It's designed for casual play during work or downtime, though early access suggests the event system and narrative depth may still expand.

started off a bit slower than I expected but I guess it fits the whole floating through space theme The beginning felt a little slow but after unlocking Prestige the progression got a lot more enjoyable It's nice if you like watching your numbers slowly grow Looks like there are events too but I haven't seen many yet would be cool if more unique events get added later overall it's a pretty decent idle game so far
Hi everyone,First, I'm sorry that some of you lost progress or were sent back to Level 1.What 1.0.2 does:Your progress is restored automatically. When you launch the game, it recovers your save — and if more than one save exists, it keeps the one with the most progress. Nothing is ever deleted.A token of apology 🍎 — affected players receive a limited-edition Apple Hat, granted automatically the next time you load the game, alongside your restored progress. It won't appear in any shop.Thank you for your patience, and for sticking with the drift.— GOGOIO Games
