Play as an unruly child tethered to a shopping cart, smashing merchandise and knocking over shoppers for points before your mother pulls you away. The game combines physics-based destruction with time-pressure mechanics, rewarding chaos across store environments. It's a darkly comedic sandbox experience best suited for players who enjoy absurdist humor and destructive mayhem over traditional goals.

The Demo is LiveAfter a long stretch of building, breaking, fixing, and doing it again… the demo is finally live on Steam. This has been a true solo dev struggle. Every system, every bug, every one off cases of crashing has been something I have had to fight alone, often learning things the hard way. Sometimes rebuilding features more than once just to get them right. There were definitely moments where I wanted to quit, but seeing it now in a playable state makes all of that worth it.This demo represents a big step forward for the game and for myself. Since the early builds, I have made a lot of changes and improvements.More stable core gameplay systems and physics interactionsImproved item interactions and consistency when grabbing/throwing objectsBetter performance and overall feel in the main levelAudio tweaks and environmental polish to help bring the store to lifeGeneral bug fixing and tuning across the boardA whole rework on the scoring and objectives systemIt’s still early, and there’s plenty more I want to add and refine, but this version finally feels like something I feel comfortable putting in hands of complete strangers to me.If you try it out, thank you. Seriously. As a solo developer, getting feedback and seeing people actually play something I have put countless hours into is the craziest experience. More updates coming as I continue pushing it forward.— Intake SoloWorks
Hey everyone,I’m incredibly excited and honestly a little nervous in the best way. I am finally ready to share that the Steam page for Leash Kid is now live! This is a huge milestone for me, and I want to sincerely thank anyone who takes the time to check out the page, wishlist the game, or just show interest in what I’m building. This game has been a long journey of experimenting, learning, fixing, and pushing through challenges to bring this idea to life. Seeing the page finally up feels like the first real step toward sharing this project with people beyond my friends and family. To everyone who has supported me along the way my friends, family, and the love of my life. Whether through feedback, playtesting, encouragement, or just watching the progress, THANK YOU. Solo development can feel pretty lonely sometimes and knowing my friends and family believe in me made this a much easier journey.I have lots planned moving forward, including more updates, polish work, and new content as I get closer to releasing playable builds. I can’t wait to share more soon! Thanks again for checking out the page, and I hope you’ll stick around for the chaos coming soon!Daniel ShawIntake SoloWorks
