Hello anglers and other fishy friends!We're back with another exciting announcement that we're participating in the Companion Falls for You event being put on by Mister Morris Games and IndieLab! This event is an autumn celebration for desktop companion games (hey, that's us!) that's taking place September 24th - October 1st! We're so incredibly honored to have been picked to be showcased in this celebration, and we hope you'll also check out all the other awesome games being included!In honor of the event, we've gone and rounded up some of the questions that you've all been asking us and will be answering them here!Q: When will Hook Nook be releasing?- Our goal is to release Hook Nook before the end of the year, but we don't have an exact date on that yet because we want to make sure we get a chance to look at all of your feedback from the Next Fest demo and have time to make any necessary changes.Q: What is going to be playable in the demo?- The first of our three docks is going to be totally accessible to you in the demo! There's not going to be any limit on playtime and we've filled Peepaw's shop with baits, cosmetic, hooks, and other fun things that you'll normally be unlocking at the other docks so you can really test out the experience and let us know what you think!Q: Can we romance Peepaw?- We've gotten asked this a lot more than we thought we would, and we're happy that you all like Peepaw so much! Unfortunately, Peepaw's first and only true love is the sea, so wooing him might be a bit out of reach for now.Q: How many friends can I fish with?- For the demo you're able to have up to four players with you in your lobby, but we've been getting asked as well if there's any possibility of bigger size lobbies, so, while it won't be in for the demo, we're going to look into raising the max lobby size for the full release. Q: What is your favorite fish in the game?- It's hard to pick just one out of over 200... But I think we're all the most fond of the weird lit...
