Somehow our silly little game has reached Overwhelmingly Positive in less than a week! That's ridiculous! For Omelet You Cook, it took us about 6 months to reach this milestone! We never expected that we'd ever even reach this number with Big Dig so we're totally blown away. We're so incredibly grateful for everyone who's taken the time to play the game, provide feedback, and leave a kind review
Hello fellow voters! We've been listening to your feedback and one of the most consistent things we hear is that the end game feels a bit sluggish. Specifically, it's very difficult to dig up every artifact in the Capital. This is a massive and obvious oversight and I apologize for shipping the game in such a state. I've overhauled the Act 3 Research Tree so that you'll feel yourself becoming much more powerful with every upgrade.Previously every shovel gave +25% damage or +20% speed. Now shovel upgrades in Act 3 give +75% damage and +60% speed, with a final node that takes you to 1000% total (up from 400% total).I've also added Excavator upgrades to Act 3 so it continues to scale alongside the shovel.Lastly we've split up the repeatable upgrades so you can invest in any of Worker/Shovel/Excavator Speed or More Guests. You can also exchange money for Research Points so you can spend all your excess resources on something. When you first load the game it will refund any Research Points spent on the previous repeatable upgrade so you can invest them in whatever you prefer.I've been playtesting all these changes for the past couple days and it immediately feels much more fun blowing through each area, especially the Capital. I hope those of you who replay as well as new voters will have a much better experience as a result of these changes. Please let us know what you think of these changes and if you notice any other lingering issues or frustrating moments that we can improve. We're always happy to chat on our Discord or here on the Steam forums.
