What players are saying
The game functions I don't see it as an idler game. It does have flaws but is playable. I have played worse games than this. For the cost it's not terrible a soft recommend 6/10.
Budget shooter with simple fun and solid gunplay, but also repetitive missions, limited variety, and design choices that quickly ruin that fun. The game gives you no information about who you are or what’s happening, so it ends up feeling like a mindless shooter where you simply push forward and kill everything in your path. As a result, there are no standout mechanics or original ideas. You can use four weapons: a pistol, rifle, sniper rifle, and shotgun. They all function as expected, except for the sniper rifle, which oddly loses its crosshair when you zoom in. In practice, though, you will mostly rely on the rifle, as the other weapons feel largely ineffective. If you want to check weapon stats, you can open the character menu, which also lists your two abilities. Rage is an active ability that must be triggered after a cooldown and temporarily boosts several stats, including health regeneration and accuracy. Momentum is passive and activates when you chain kills together, healing you and increasing your movement speed. Although you regenerate health slowly over time, neither ability allows you to charge into a group of enemies and survive, so using cover is essential. The game consists of three linear stages. Your objective is simply to move from start to finish. While new objectives appear regularly, they rarely go beyond clearing the next area or eliminating another group of enemies. You fight military soldiers who vary slightly in durability, but they are not bullet sponges, as a well-placed shot can take them down instantly. Enemies spawn as you approach objective markers, which can be frustrating since some appear behind you. Each enemy has a fixed spawn point, so if you replay a stage multiple times, you will start to memorize the most dangerous encounters and eliminate those threats first before dealing with enemies approaching from the front. Your accuracy is not perfect, so many shots will miss. This becomes a problem because ammunition is limited, and enemies do not drop any. Instead, you must advance to designated supply points that fully replenish your ammo and grenades. These supply spots can be used repeatedly, allowing you to push forward and then backtrack to restock as often as needed. There are no checkpoints, so each stage must be completed in a single attempt. On the plus side, aside from occasionally throwing grenades, enemies are not very intelligent and often rush at you in a straight line. By staying behind cover, you can easily eliminate entire waves. A map and compass also display enemy locations. The game is quite decent, and its low price does offer some entertainment value. However, it suffers from several issues. Some are minor, such as grenades that feel pointless. They kill you instantly but barely affect enemies unless they are standing directly on top of the explosion, which rarely happens because they usually leap out of the blast radius. Other problems are far more serious and should not appear even in a budget title. Certain environmental assets can trap you with no way to escape, forcing you to restart the stage. There are also occasional temporarily invincible enemies. While they can eventually be killed, you may not survive long enough to do so. Finally, enemy bullets can pass through solid objects, including dumpsters. This issue makes the extra arena mode especially frustrating because no cover truly protects you. I attempted several runs, but they often ended abruptly. I would be crouching behind cover, convinced I was safe, only to suddenly drop dead from shots that passed straight through it.
