Hi everybody! We're Neutron Star Studio, and today's a very special day for us... After months of top-secret development work, we're thrilled to announce that our new cat-themed business sim Logisticats is coming to Steam!(Check out our previous title, Dustland Delivery, on Steam!)🐾How It All BeganDuring the development period, our studio welcomed three new colleagues—by which we mean three adorable cats. They quickly became a valuable addition to the team: one took up permanent occupancy on our office chairs, one caused constant chaos, and the last one enjoyed nothing more than going to sleep atop piles of design documents.One night, as we worked yet another overtime shift, we gazed upon our furry co-workers and had a sudden brainwave: "If we had a team of cats to help us work... what would that look like?"Once the thought occurred to us, we couldn't get it out of our minds.As concept art and design documents multiplied, our cats' pawprints were all over them—and Logisticats (initially called "Cat Island") was born.🎮What Kind of Game Did We Want to Make?In our team, we have lovers of farming games, lovers of business sims, and of course, animal lovers. So from the offset, the thought was: How do we fit all of these into a single game?There are plenty of games where you raise cats, and plenty of games where you run a business. But we didn't want the cats to be just cute background set dressing. We wanted them to be at the heart of business, with their own demands, and able to farm, produce goods, and build their own homes.At the same time, we didn't want the player to just oversee production on one island. What Do You Do Once You've Made a Little Money? We struck upon a solution: Build an airship, then fly from place to place to do business. Track market prices, ply trade routes, and speculate.
