This is just another one of those “cultivation” or auto battle games where you feel like you are clicking through options without knowing what they do. The reason for this is that despite English being available in the options, most of the translation is missing, with the exception of the main screen.
Here, you have several locations such as the workshop or market, and each has several options such as herb garden or mining grounds for the alchemy location. But when you click on an option, you are greeted by a screen filled with Chinese characters and only a word here and there in English.
The cheap price makes this bearable because you can stumble upon the actual gameplay after some effort. The main location you need is the tavern where you buy and recruit heroes. The screen is not translated, but you simply click one of the boxes as long as you have enough money, so you cannot really mess anything up. After unpacking heroes in another tavern option, you go to the manor and choose the hero lineup where you pick five of them, preferably the strongest ones, which is visible in clear stats.
Then you can finally click on the adventure location where you go through battles. A battle is more like a defense game in which each of your heroes on the left side has a line leading to the right where the enemies come from. All heroes can attack an enemy on any line, but an enemy will only attack a hero on the same line. The goal is to survive the required number of waves to unlock the next stage, but you can turn on the loop feature and let the heroes grind for resources.
