Rune Tower Incremental tasks you with upgrading a single tower with 14 runes that dramatically alter its combat style, from splash-heavy swarms to single-target laser builds. The game combines idle progression with prestige resets for exponential scaling and wave-based combat against bosses, but early access reports highlight balance issues, frequent bugs, and limited content that make it feel incomplete despite its core concept.

It is NOT a TOWER DEFENSE!! It is BAD rogue-lite incremental game. Bad becasue it has no balance (no anti-block and anti-evade options), it has strange decission (every run reqirement) to press hourglass (ui button)with your lmb entire run............ You have ammo to shoot, when you out of ammo the game is over. Main problem is it has strange RNG for hit chance. Even if you have Damage x1000 more than mob's HP, it doesnt mean 1 ammo = 1 kill. Monsters in this game have unimaginable high BLOCK-rate and EVASION, which makes so stupid gameplay and RPG-part of the game as much as your tatcics becomes nothing.
This is a really fun idea, but it's basically unplayable at the moment.
Literally every other run I experienced a bug where when adding runes, my weapon would cause a fixed visual effect on a point on the map and my shots would stop dealing any damage, leaving no choice but to end the run.
very very little content. it's an interesting idea, but at this stage just feels very incomplete. Can't recommend in it's current state, but I will revisit this in the future and update this if more comes along. As it stands, save your few bucks, invest in a different incremental style.
