Hi everyone! It’s been a while since our last update, and we’re sorry for the silence! Development has continued behind the scenes, and we’re finally back with some exciting news: we’ve just released a major demo update for Planet No More on Steam! As we get closer to Steam Next Fest, we wanted to bring the demo up to speed with some of the new content we’ve added since the initial release. There’s a lot more to explore now, and we’d love for you to check it out! From now on, we’ll also be returning to our weekly devlogs and sharing regular progress updates as we continue working toward the full release. Here is a look at what’s included in the new demo update:Added 2 brand-new planet types: Desert Worlds and Lava Worlds. Each one brings a new stage of progression and a fresh celestial body to destroy. The Super Blaster and Super Bazooka are now available in the demo! These upgraded ships are larger, more powerful, and ready to cause even more chaos across the galaxy.Added the Cursor Shard currency and its upgrade tree. Active players can now build up their cursor-focused progression by landing manual hits.Added the Comet Orb currency and its upgrade tree, giving you access to deeper comet progression and more ways to improve your comet system.Added the Cursor Ship! We’ll be sharing a much closer look at this ship in one of our upcoming weekly devlogs.Added more Comet types. Almost the entire comet roster is now available in the demo, with the Rainbow Comet being the only exception for now. We’re saving that one for later! What's Next? We’ll be back with another weekly devlog this Friday, where we’ll explain more about what we’re currently working on. Stay tuned, and make sure to check out the updated demo before Steam Next Fest! If you haven't yet, please add Planet No More to your Steam Wishlist. Hi everyone! First of all, this devlog is arriving a little later than usual. Friday turned into a very busy day, and by the evening we ended up celebrating with some of the other teams sharing the same game development ecosystem. We had a great time, but that also meant I missed our usual weekly devlog schedule. Sorry for the delay! This week, we continued developing the second-tier ships. We’ve decided to use "Super" instead of "Big" for these upgraded versions, so it’s time to officially introduce the completed Super Bazooka! Here is a look at what we’ve done this week:The Super Bazooka is now fully complete! You can obtain it by upgrading the standard Bazooka ship through its upgrade path.Compared to the regular Bazooka, the Super Bazooka is much larger, much more powerful, and capable of firing multiple projectiles in a single burst. More explosions, more damage, more space debris. What’s not to love? The Super Bazooka uses the same upgrade categories as the normal Bazooka, including damage, radius, fire rate, fuel consumption, critical chance, and critical bonus. Investing in the original ship’s upgrades will continue to improve its Super version too. What's Next?Next week, we’ll continue developing the ship roster. Also, there is a "Surprise Ship" waiting to be revealed... Stay tuned! If you haven't yet, please add Planet No More to your Steam Wishlist. Every single wishlist helps us with visibility and keeps the momentum going! Thanks for following our journey. See you next time!— Cos @ WiseMonkeES
Hi everyone! We’ve had an incredibly productive week as we’ve officially implemented the fourth and final currency to complete our game's economy: Comet Orbs. We are really excited to see how this final piece of the puzzle changes the way you approach upgrades and long-term planning in the game! Here is a look at what we’ve done this week:We officially introduced the Comet Orb, our final currency type. You’ll be able to unlock it as soon as you progress to celestial bodies that possess a core. (Desert Planet)Once unlocked, you’ll earn these Orbs based on a chance roll for every pixel destroyed while damaging the core of a celestial body. We’ve added dedicated upgrades for these Orbs, allowing you to boost your Orb drop rate, increase the guaranteed amount per hit, and extend how long they stay on screen before disappearing. The most exciting part? Comet Orbs are the key to mastering your Comets! You will use these to buy upgrades that unlock specific comet types, increase their spawn rate, and extend their active duration. What's Next?Next week, I’ll be giving you a much closer look at the Super Bazooka ship! As we put the finishing touches on our other ships, I can’t wait to share those with you too. If you haven't yet, please add Planet No More to your Steam Wishlist. Every single wishlist helps us with visibility and keeps the momentum going! Thanks for following our journey. See you next time!— Cos @ WiseMonkeES
