Run an organ trading empire in the dark underworld of Arkwright. Buy, upgrade, and sell organs across black markets. Manage your economy, dodge the police, and fulfill patient requests to dominate the underground.
Hello everyone from Devlog #3,I’ve been ill for the past two weeks. On top of that, as I’m a dad to a little girl, I haven’t had much free time. I also couldn’t make the necessary updates to the game because of holidays and trips. (What a hard-working game developer I am!). Anyway, I’m back with a new update;I’ve introduced the benevolence system. (It used to be the black market.)I didn’t like the black market system and it was rather pointless. I don’t even know why I added it in the first place :). But I’ve removed it.Instead, there’s now a benevolence system. You can donate organs from your inventory to people who come to your door asking for help. All you need is to have organs in your inventory.Every time you open and close the Good Deeds panel, the person you’ll be donating to changes. This isn’t a bug, it’s a feature :)Also, the demo is almost ready. I’ll be sharing it soon. That’s all from me. I hope you’re enjoying the devlogs :)See you in the next devlog!
Devlog #2 - Hello Everyone,I've been wrestling with the dialog system for a while now. After a long and exhausting stretch of work, I finally got it done. Even with AI assistance, there were way too many bugs, especially in the build, where visuals, conversations and the entire panel kept shifting out of place. Learned the hard way...Here's a quick breakdown of how the dialog system works:Some contacts will now reach out to you on their own and start random conversations. (Some might even come with rewards... maybe :) )When the police raid you, the dialog system kicks in and they'll have a few demands. You know how it goes :)I've decided to add dialogs to the quest system as well. Not sure if I'll write unique dialog for every single quest, but I'm going to give it a shot. The tutorial wasn't fully finished anyway, so I want to blend it into the dialog system. I think having the first contact walk you through the basics could work really well.See you in the next devlog!
Devlog #1 - Hello Everyone,Since I'm quite new to Steam, I'm not entirely sure how to publish a devlog properly... So please bear with me! :))Here's what I've been working on in this devlog:A category-based upgrade system tailored to the game's mechanics has been built.Previously used placeholder visuals have been replaced and reworked to better fit the game's aesthetic.Alongside the upgrades, the in-game economic balance has also been adjusted.Note: Upgrade prices may vary depending on your in-game contacts and reputation level.See you in the next devlog!
