Great game but after 1 hour of playing it has unbearable micro fps drops and mouse lags. Hope they release a fix.
Game is really well done except the performance. Heavy memoryleak as soon as you hit more then 150 balls. I got a decent rig but it makes my computper suffer until I restart the explorer. Its a shame because the game itself is very promising. A nice loop with good upgrade progression and the "play for your country" thing is kinda nice. Contentwise its on par with other recently released incrementals maybe a "bit" pricey but its EA so maaayyybee its a hidden gem. For now its okay but not great.
THE SKILL TREE IS EXPANDING!One of Goal Idle’s biggest Skill Tree updates is here! The Skill Tree has grown from 12 to a total of 20 skills. With 8 new additions and expanded branches, there are now more ways to develop your progression and build different strategies.AN IMPROVED SKILL TREE EXPERIENCEThe Skill Tree layout has been expanded and reorganized to support the new progression paths.Node animations, unlock effects, connection visuals, and interaction feedback have also been improved, making every new unlock feel more satisfying.
Update NotesHey everyone,I’ve been working hard on some improvements, and I wanted to share this update with you.Fixes & PerformanceMajor Performance Optimization: I’ve fundamentally resolved the issue causing FPS drops when there are many balls on the field. The game should now run significantly smoother.Small Note Thank you to everyone who shared suggestions and reported issues. Your feedback is truly invaluable and helps me shape the game, especially since I’m developing this project solo. I am committed to continuing these improvements based on your input. 🖤🌹
Hi everyone,Thank you all for the overwhelming support during the launch of Goal Idle. I have been closely monitoring community feedback regarding the World Cup rankings and the overall game balance. To ensure a fair and competitive environment, I have released a hotfix with the following change:Disabled Demo Save Imports: Importing save files from the demo version into the full game is now disabled. Why this change? I realized that allowing demo saves created an unintended competitive advantage in the World Cup rankings. To maintain the integrity of the "grind" and ensure everyone starts on equal footing, starting fresh in the full version is now required.I appreciate your understanding as I work to keep the competition fair for all players. Enjoy the game and good luck in the World Cup!
