I honestly didn’t expect “Do NOT Press Me” to get into my head the way it did. At first, it looks like such a simple concept — just a button and a choice. But the deeper you go, the more the game starts messing with your thoughts, your curiosity, and even your patience. That’s what makes this game special. It’s not just about gameplay, it’s about how the game reacts to YOU.

The atmosphere is incredible. Minimalistic, strange, uncomfortable, and mysterious in the best possible way. Every time I thought I understood what was happening, the game completely changed direction and surprised me again. Some moments genuinely made me stop and think before making a decision. Very few indie psychological games manage to create that feeling.

I also really liked how the game breaks expectations constantly. One second it feels calm and simple, and the next it throws you into platforming sections, hidden secrets, weird interactions, or moments that make you question whether pressing the button was actually a good idea. The unpredictability is what keeps the experience fresh from start to finish.

The new update made the game even better. The added interactions make the world feel more alive, the new 2D level location was a great addition, and the boss fight honestly caught me off guard in a good way. You can tell the developer actually cares about expanding the experience instead of just leaving it as a small concept project.

What impressed me the most is how much personality the game has despite its minimalist style. It proves that you don’t need ultra realistic graphics to create tension, atmosphere, and memorable moments. The psychological side of the game slowly builds up without relying on cheap horror tricks, and that made the experience feel much more unique.

The multiple endings are another huge plus because your choices genuinely feel important. Whether you decide to resist curiosity or give in to it changes how the game unfolds, and that makes replaying worth it. I found myself wanting to discover every hidden reaction and secret the game had to offer.

If you enjoy psychological indie games that experiment with player choice, atmosphere, and expectation-breaking gameplay, this is absolutely worth trying. It’s short, but it stays in your mind long after you close the game. Definitely one of the most creative and interesting indie experiences I’ve played recently.

And honestly… after playing, the title starts to sound less like a warning and more like a challenge.

“Do NOT Press Me” is weird, clever, unsettling, and memorable in all the right ways.
