Oh this is a great example! MANIFEST - LaVonne's Bouncing Idle — a breakout-style idle game. And yeah, there are some pretty classic vibe-code tells just from the screenshot:
Signs of vibe coding:
"LaVonne's Bouncing Idle" — very personal, unpolished name, like someone just asked AI to make them a game and it used their name
Repetitive values everywhere — so many blocks showing exactly "12.9k" damage. A human designer would vary these more intentionally; an AI just reused the same default
"Calculated Upgrades" — oddly literal, almost like the section title came straight from a prompt ("show calculated upgrades")
"BOUNCING MANUAL" button — slightly awkward phrasing
"Enable Monkey Pet" — a very random feature that feels like a one-off "add a fun thing" prompt
The stats panel saying "Deploys 1 per 0.12s" — weirdly precise, like a value that was never balanced, just generated
776M total earnings with blocks still showing tiny 12.9k values — balance feels off, typical of untuned AI-generated progression systems
(Above is an AI generated comment based on a screenshot. )
AI Slop, but it doesn't bring my GPU to its knees and seems bug-free.
The "dev" probably just asked Claude to build this in 2 afternoons. Whoever buys additional stuff here is either laundering money or stupid.
Did i enjoy the 30 minutes i played this ? no, it's a boring idle game. a glorified interactive screensaver animation.
