Pit Wizard combines incremental progression with bullet-hell action, asking you to survive waves of enemies and environmental hazards while gathering loot to unlock new spells and abilities. Your character grows exponentially powerful through a sprawling skill tree, letting you eventually return to earlier challenges with overwhelming force. It appeals to players who want the steady dopamine hits of idle games mixed with the moment-to-moment intensity of dodge-and-shoot combat.

Hey Pit Wizards! We've added a few more additions and fixes based on the feedback we've received. One notable set of feedback we heard was how some weapons could be punchier, so we're working to make them more fun. The biggest change in this area is to how magic missiles work. Instead of firing a single bolt you'll fire an arc of several projectiles. It should be more fun, and you can play around with your positioning when they're about to fire off to try and hit more things! It's much better now and we hope you enjoy it. We've also updated the capsule image - hope you like it.Here's a list of the most notable updates in the latest build.Updates to demo build (v0.6.9)Update magic missiles so it fires a spread of projectiles (they’re more fun now!)The Circling Orbs weapon is now included in the demo (you'll need to unlock them in the skill tree)Better damage collision detection for player weapons hitting big enemies. This is for magic missiles, circling orbs, and the kickable spike ballSome visual upgrades to the main menuUpdated the texture for the circling orbsLowered default glyph blast cooldown from 30s->20sTuned difficulty of a few levels and enemiesTuned cost and upgrade values of several upgradesIncreased side goal targets for a few goal typesUpdated the capsule imageThanks for playing!
