A curator wrote yesterday that there was no music in the game, even though the page advertises a soundtrack. He was right.The file was there, but the function that plays it was called from exactly one place: the button in the top bar. At startup that button showed a muted icon, in grey. A player who did not notice it played in silence from start to finish.In 2.4.6 the soundtrack starts at launch. If you turned the music off in the settings, your choice is respected and nothing starts.The button no longer lies either: it used to turn gold even when playback had been refused by the system. It now reflects what actually comes out of the speakers.Third fix of the day, after the localization and the interface size. Thanks to the people who take the time to write down what is wrong.

A player reported that the game launched at a microscopic scale on his 4K screen, and that the text was not only tiny but also too low in contrast to read. Both points were correct, and both were measurable.Interface size. The whole layout was written in fixed pixels for a 1600x900 screen. On a 4K display it therefore kept its physical size and used about a fifth of the screen. The game now works out a scale factor at startup from the window size: x2.4 at 3840x2160, x1.6 at 1440p, x1.2 at 1080p. An Interface size setting has been added to the options, from 80% to 250%, for anyone who wants something else. It is the layout that gets bigger, not the render resolution, so the text grows without going blurry.Contrast. The secondary text colour was #50485a, a ratio of 2.1:1 against the background, where the readable minimum is 4.5:1. It is now #9a92a8, measured at 6.2:1. That single colour was used in 66 places: stat labels, investment descriptions, quest and upgrade text.On a 4K screen the click counter goes from 11 to 26 pixels, and the stat labels from 10 to 24.Thanks to the people who take the time to report this kind of thing. Neither of these two flaws was visible from my own screen.

A curator pointed out that parts of the game were still showing in French no matter which language you picked. They were right, and the cause ran deeper than a few forgotten strings.The game was choosing its language too late at startup. On every launch, the news ticker, the career title, the quest list and the portfolio were drawn before the language was applied. They came up in French for everyone, then corrected themselves a few seconds later.What changed in 2.4.4:The language is now selected before the first frame is drawn.143 more strings go through the translation system: the SEC boss fight, the casino, photo mode, the shop tags, the crypto panel, the demo end screen.19 entries missing from the Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Korean and Russian tables have been added. All six languages now hold exactly the same 611 keys.The game was relaunched and walked through screen by screen in English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Korean and Russian to check. Not a line of French left.Thanks to the curators who took the time to flag it. That is the only reason this was found.
