Thumbs up really only for the aesthetics. Yes I know the name of the game is Random Horse Derby and that is exactly what you get however the developers could of built a larger framework under the covers without too much effort and added a bit of player interaction besides picking one of five horses.
I'm referring to types of horse races, odds, favorites, trifectas and everything else that comes along with going to a racetrack. Just under the covers stuff that can be conveyed through text. Why not add simplified training with a couple of buttons or create your own horse. As kids many years ago we used to do this kind of stuff with dice and that's kind of exactly what you get here.
