A mischievous cat takes over your desktop, interrupting your work and browsing with demands for attention and affection. You'll pet, feed, and apologize to your feline companion while they chronicle your digital habits in their personal diary. It's a playful desktop pet experience for anyone who wants idle companionship with a judgmental edge.
About this game
Your desktop is no longer yours. A tiny cat walks across your windows 😼. They watch what you do, scream at your doomscrolling, demand attention, and write it all down in a tiny diary. Pet them. Feed them. Apologize to them. Don’t you dare ignore them!

Thanks, everyone! This is a really huge milestone 😺I still don't understand how to market games, so I really appreciate your help in making it happen.Lately, I've been spending most of my time on the initial marketing posts, but I've also been working on a fishing mini-game prototype. And possibility to change cat's color.
Hi! I’m Andrei, the solo developer behind Pocket Cat Desktop.I’m making this game in memory of my cat, Sonya. I want to capture a little of what it feels like to have a cat nearby: quiet company one moment, urgent demands for attention the next, and the understanding that everything you own actually belongs to them.I can’t have pets in my current apartment, so creating this little companion means a lot to me.She loved sitting among the plants 😅In Pocket Cat Desktop, a tiny pixel cat moves onto your actual desktop. They walk along the edges of your windows, climb between them, and curl up for a nap while you work. Close the window they’re sleeping on, and down they go.You can feed them, pet them, and try to get some work done under their supervision. They react to what you’re doing, judge your doomscrolling, and demand attention when they feel ignored. They even keep a tiny diary of their adventures: butterflies chased, naps taken, and that time you forgot to feed them.I’ll be sharing more about the game and its development here. If you’d like a little company on your desktop, you can wishlist Pocket Cat Desktop on Steam. You can also follow me on X (Twitter) and YouTube. And if you have a cat: what’s their favorite way to interrupt you?
