## 🛠️ Update 1.0.9 — Four Bug Reports, Answered Every fix in this update came directly from player reports. One player managed to uncover four of them in a single afternoon. Thank you — you basically wrote this patch. ### 🏕️ Camp Tasks Fixed After Settling Camp tasks were carrying their old production targets into newly settled camps. That meant a fresh camp producing almost nothing could inherit a task based on billions-per-second production and become permanently stuck. Tasks now reset correctly when you settle. If your save is already stuck behind one, **1.0.9 will repair it automatically on your next load while preserving your existing progress.** ### ⚡ “Swift Return” Fixed The **-5 minute expedition bonus** was only affecting your first expedition slot. It now correctly shortens **every expedition currently in progress**. The Ark Fall debris salvage reward had the same issue and has been fixed as well. ### 🗺️ Deep Exploration Works Again Recent map generation changes could create more branching routes than the exploration screen expected, causing the entire map interface to disappear. Parties could reach a fork and wait forever for a decision the game was unable to display. The exploration system now properly handles missing routes, markers, prompts, timers, and party information. ### 🔬 Bulk Researcher Assignment Researcher +/- controls now obey the same **x1 / x10 / x100 / MAX** selector used throughout the rest of the game. Yes, **MAX works too.** ### 🔤 Smaller Text Options Requested by a French-language player whose translated text was overflowing some panels. Text scaling now includes **50% and 75%**, and all six available sizes have been moved into one clean dropdown. ### 💾 Saves No save changes or resets. **Everything from previous versions continues to load normally.** Thanks again to everyone reporting bugs. These reports genuinely help make the game better. ❤️
## 🛠️ Update 1.0.8 — Bulk Survivors + Linux Fix A smaller update, but with two highly requested improvements and one important fix. ### 👶 Hold to Grow Survivors No more clicking once for every survivor. You can now **hold the baby icon** to continuously grow survivors at up to **10 per second**, stopping automatically when you release the button or run out of resources. ### ⚡ New “Buy All” Button If you can afford more than 10 survivors, a **Buy All** button will appear. Press it once and the game will purchase every survivor your available Water, Food, and Materials can support. Because survivor costs increase with every purchase, Buy All calculates the full rising cost correctly rather than simply multiplying the next survivor’s displayed price. ### 🐧 Linux / Proton Black Screen Fix This one was on us. Update 1.0.7 changed how V-Sync behaved when the new FPS cap was introduced. That worked on Windows, but could cause Linux players running through Proton to launch into a black, unresponsive window — even when using the previous workaround. 1.0.8 changes the FPS system so **V-Sync is only disabled when necessary**. At the default 60 FPS on a 60 Hz display, V-Sync remains enabled. Lower FPS limits or Unlimited mode will still behave as expected. This also fixes unnecessary screen tearing some Windows players may have experienced after 1.0.7. Linux remains unofficially supported, but if we break something ourselves, we’re going to own it and fix it. ### 🔧 Under the Hood • Buy All uses instant mathematical calculation rather than purchasing survivors one at a time. • Survivor-growth tooltips are now properly translated across **all 33 languages**. • The new Buy All label is translated as well. Thanks to everyone reporting bugs and suggesting improvements. **Both major parts of this update came directly from player feedback.** ❤️
🛠️ Patch 1.0.7 - Expeditions, FPS Limiter & PerformancePatch 1.0.7 is now live! This update focuses on expedition balance, performance, and player-reported issues.🚚 Expedition Crews Now Haul ProperlyWe found a bug where larger expedition crews did not properly increase Water, Food, and Material rewards.Worse, sending survivors away reduced camp production, which could lower your expedition haul. That is now fixed.Survivors on expedition now contribute their gathering ability while traveling.Bigger crew = bigger haul.⏱️ New Expedition DurationsAdded:• 6 Hours • 12 Hours • 24 HoursThe existing 30 sec, 7.5 min, 30 min, and 3 hour options remain.Rewards scale directly with time, so longer trips are not more profitable per hour. They simply let you send a crew out, go offline, and return later without constantly restarting expeditions.A 12-hour expedition can now chart a new area.🎮 FPS Limiter AddedThe game previously had no frame-rate cap, which could cause some systems to run at extremely high FPS.Settings now includes a Frame Rate option.Default: 60 FPSSet your own limit or leave it blank for unlimited.Progression is based on real elapsed time, not FPS, so this will not slow down the game.⚙️ Performance ImprovementsSeveral systems that were checking every rendered frame have been cleaned up, reducing unnecessary CPU/GPU usage.🗺️ Charting Feedback FixedCharting progress was not being lost, but the game sometimes failed to tell you when a new area was discovered.Every charted area is now properly reported.🔧 Other Fixes• Corrected expedition guide text • Updated charting requirement from 24h to 12h • Removed outdated settlement text • Fixed expedition lines ignoring language settingsThanks for the reports. Several fixes in this patch came directly from player feedback.Keep it coming.
