Hello, this is the developer of TBF: Task Bar Fishing. A new update has been applied to the TBF: Task Bar Fishing demo. This update was built from the feedback of everyone who played the demo. The window now stays where you put it, one of DEX's two effects has been replaced with a new one, and the issues you reported in the settings menu and speech bubbles have been fixed.Version after this update: 0.260917.0 (shown under Settings › General)New FeaturesWindow lock - A lock button has been added to the main window, just to the left of the speaker button. While it's on, dragging won't move the window. Since you can grab the game anywhere (the sea, a panel) to move it, it was easy to shove the window aside by accident while working. Now you can prevent that. The setting is kept the next time you launch the game.Snaps to the taskbar - Place the window near the taskbar and it snaps neatly on top of it. Alignment is based on what's actually drawn rather than the window frame, so it looks the same as placing it at the very bottom of a screen with no taskbar. It fits each monitor separately even if their taskbar heights differ, and aligns to the bottom of the screen if the taskbar is auto-hidden or docked to the top or side. A window you deliberately leave slightly above the taskbar won't get pulled in and stays where it is."Speed" sort option - Added to both the Bag and Storage. It's the same Speed you check when choosing fish to load onto the boat, and matches the number shown in the item tooltip. Two new options in Settings › GraphicHide scenery - Draws only the sea, the boat, the character and the bobber, and skips everything else. Try it when you want a cleaner screen or your PC is struggling. You can still talk to hidden NPCs as usual.Hide bag mark - Turns off only the red exclamation mark shown outside the window. Once you open the main window, the equipment, panel, stat and mission indicators are all still there. It simply removes the one thing that grabs your attenti...
Hello, this is the developer of TBF: Task Bar Fishing. A small update has been applied to the TBF: Task Bar Fishing demo. New Tutorials We added guidance to the two spots where new players got stuck most often. Boat tutorial added - Walks you through the boat status, how upgrades work, and how to load your catch onto the boat, step by step. Teleport tutorial added - Explains the requirements and how to travel, right at the moment teleporting first becomes available. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46270043/585a1cce368f58e737af53d5d1760f1bf9b63ad7.png Bug Fixes Fixed enhancement materials disappearing - Fixed an issue where, in certain situations, materials spent on an enhancement vanished without the result being processed. Quality of Life Automatic UI shifting added - A new setting makes each window open inward depending on where the game window sits on your screen. Panels no longer run off-screen when you play near the taskbar or along a screen edge. Initial language setting changed - The in-game language setting now takes priority over your Steam client language, so the language you pick stays put. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46270043/0f3e4a4e9e345a8aa6a730f6eec4a38344415e06.png Thank You Most of the fixes and improvements in this patch came straight from the reviews and feedback you left us. Your detailed reports of exactly when things went wrong made it much faster to track down the causes. Thank you, sincerely. Please keep the suggestions and bug reports coming - we read every one of them. Happy fishing! -SW
