Cursed Waters is an idle RPG where your pirate crew engages in automatic combat across five ocean-spanning chapters, progressing whether you play actively or offline. You'll gradually assemble a loyal team, upgrade their gear and abilities, and confront escalating threats from rival pirates, naval forces, and sea monsters. It's designed for players who enjoy watching their crew grow stronger through passive accumulation while occasional active input optimizes your advancement.

TLDR: Active party size can no longer exceed 4 characters. A new menu with more information on game systems. New Crew menu character cycle bar. Other minor changes and fixes. Changes: Fixed a bug that allowed players to have more than 4 characters in the active party that also broke the Battle Screen UI Added a new tutorial menu to explain game systems in more detail. I hope this will help a little bit to better understand how the game works Fixed a bug that allowed the players to receive more than 8 hours of offline gold and XP Added character buttons cycle to the Crew to avoid cut offs Removed the cycle icon from the farm button and corrected the tooltip text to better represent what toggling the button does Fixed the text when rerolling item stats. Fixed item tooltip position for stat reroll options
Cursed Waters: Idle RPG has been released! What a journey! 4 months ago, I was planning this game while still in college and in the middle of the exams, but I really wanted to start making games, because they played and still play a big part in my life. College was a success and now, I can say that this release is another one. I really struggled for a while to reject the idea that I have to make my dream game as my first one, because the truth is I need a whole lot of experience for that, but this first game brings me a step closer to that.Even more, I found out that I want to make more games, not just my 'ideal' one.Anyway, about this game. I don't plan on making big changes to it. This is the game that I wanted to make and I think I did a good enough job. If the game is received well, it is possible that I will bring one more content update (free), but no promises as I want to focus on other games (that are already in the works). Have fun playing my game and see you later.Tomo.
The game will now release Friday 25th of SeptemberBeing my first game release, I wanted the launch to be going smooth, but without any experience releasing a game, I ultimately made a mistake that now prevents the game from going live on the initial day.Totally my fault, and now the game build has to go through another round of the Steam review process, which usually takes 3-5 working days to complete.I fixed what was wrong and submitted for review again. The new release date is due to this re-submission.I am deeply sorry for this delay, but I want to assure you that nothing is wrong with the build itself, it was just some settings in Steamworks that I forgot to fix.See you next Friday,Tomo.
