A minimalist radio operator sim where you build transmitter arrays, log distant contacts, and gradually unlock mysteries through retuning cycles. Whether actively clicking or leaving the game to run offline, you'll accumulate signal strength and decipher cryptic responses from the void. Best for players drawn to atmospheric progression and patient exploration over rapid reward loops.
About this game
An idle/incremental game about a lone radio operator keying into a silent universe. Click or walk away, both work just as well. Build your station, log distant contacts, retune to grow stronger, and slowly decode what answers back.

So far so good. It's a pretty basic, level up certain things to increase your output type of idler, but you decrypt messages throughout the game. If you're into basic idlers and enjoy sci-fi themed story bits, you'll enjoy it.
It is a peaceful idle game. As I have played a decent amount of idle games before, this game has a balanced progression pace. The radio frequencies universe is what the game guides you through by performing the classical idle accumulation and upgrades. I am a bit familiar with HAM radios but still a novice in terms of frequencies types, antennas, input output power and the game paints a nice picture of it. We are now in the era of AI generated content and I can see its touch. The disclaimer makes it clear that AI content is used and I have absolutely no problem with it. I have enjoyed the game so far.
Fixed: time with the window minimised now counts as play time. It was counted at a fraction of the real rate, so The Long Watch stayed locked past ten hours and Stats under-reported. Stats won't correct itself, but it counts properly from here and the achievement will unlock on its own. Sorry to everyone still waiting at twenty hours.
New: compact window mode. Press F9 and CQ shrinks to a small panel that sits on top of your other windows, out of the way while you work. F9 brings the full window back. Pileups and Field Day contests are easier to follow now. Also fixed: the transmit key no longer jumps when the CQ FIELD DAY button appears.
New in Settings: Bug report info. If something goes wrong, copy that block and post it in the Steam Discussions for CQ, or mail cqthegame@outlook.com. It describes your setup, not you. Also fixed: text in menus and dialogs no longer gets selected when you double-click it.
