A frog of your own There's a new resident on the log in the Nest: your very own pet frog. Give it a name (or keep Pip), and watch it grow with every metamorphosis, from an egg to a tadpole, a froglet, a young frog and finally a proper frog. Click it and it blinks and croaks. Hold the mouse on it to pet it. There are 40 things to collect for your frog: hats, scarves, things to hold and decorations for its log, in four rarities from Common to Legendary. Every pond gives its own hat when you open it and hides one special thing of its own. You never get the same thing twice, and a dry spell never lasts long. Try things on in the little preview, see which ones you still miss and where they come from. A friend at the end of every round Your frog now pops up on its own lily pad at the end of every round. It nods along as the bonuses add up, croaks at the total and hops when you set a new record. If a gift came out of the water during the round, it opens right there: the box flies to the middle, shakes, pops open, and your frog tries the new thing on. Drop one frog onto a lily pad: its ripple launches the frogs nearby, their ripples launch more, and one poke becomes a chain that runs across the whole pond. You get a few pokes and choose where they go. Then you watch what happens. A pond full of upgrades. Coins go into an upgrade tree that is a lily pond of its own: springier legs, bigger waves, more frogs, and special ones such as the Bullfrog and the Golden Frog. Nine ponds, nine rules. Frogs slide on the Frozen Pond, the River pulls two ways at once, pads sink in the Swamp and the Waterfall has an edge. A King to dethrone. The King Toad rules his own lake, and he doesn't stay down for long. Eggs that stay. Metamorphose, start the pond over and keep the eggs. They hatch into upgrades that never go away.
