Aircraft Evolution is a casual indie sidescrolling shooter that follows in the footsteps of the 1987 classic Wings of Fury. In my opinion fans of WOF game most likely wont be disapointed acquiring Aircraft Evolution as it does a great job at it. The gameplay of Aircraft Evolution is pretty much about bombing the living hell out of the enemies of differnt eras of the history of airplanes and fending off attacking airplanes in different missions while upgrading and buying new planes. In the current early access build the plane is controlled with the mouse and 3 keyboard keys (z,repair -x,fuel-space,speed) and its rather simple to master. The graphics are hand-drawn and really nice to behold. I bought the game for 3.99 euros and feel i got great value for the money. I'll rate the game 8/10.

Well.... After all, it is fun, for a while.
But, the artwork is very average, to say the least, and the playability is not perfect.
The controls are not updateable, like, I mean, I would prefer something else instead of the mouse (and 3 keys).
Also, the game is not very helpful... like, when you "have to kill all units", at least it should show the amount of units still there... eh. It lost it's "magic" (flying with planes, and destroying anything around) in about 1 - 2 hours and 10 levels.
Maybe the fun comes only later, but if a game is not fun in the first 10 levels... I will not play it on.
Meh. Okay, I will not recommend it.

For $4.00? Would have paid 50.00 for it back in the days of SNES games. The fact that you can take your badass upgraded plane and redo old levels is amazing... Mig-21 vs WW1 equipment? Go for it!
Go hungry one night and skip the Jack in the Box, and get this game.
