I know this is a very cheap game, but it's just not worth it.

The gameplay is you being told to find some food in a big pile of food - sometimes it's only one piece, other times it's more - while a timer counts down.
If you find the item(-s) before the timer reaches zero, you get to find a new item.
Slowly, the big pile of food, where you have to locate your items, grows in size, while each item in the pile also gets smaller.

There are three difficulty levels and a mode where you see the item you need to find, instead of the written name.

When the timer reaches zero, the game is over and that's it. No high score, no achievements, no nothing. Just start over and do the exact same thing again.

Even Pac Man had more variation in the gameplay, though the food you ate in that game didn't look as inviting as in this one.

Cheap little pointless time waster.

Pros:
1. Nice graphics.
2. Interesting concept for HO game.
3. Cheap price.

Cons:
1. No high score table. What is the point of playing if you can't track getting better at it?
2. No way to turn off sound effects. Music can be turned off, but not effects.
3. Hints can't be turned off.

Would recommend, for the price anyway, except for lack of high score tracking. Pointless without it.

Warning: Asset Flip!

Hidden Object - Food is a Unity Asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", BoogyGames Studios, took the Hidden Object Game Template Unity Store tutorial/demo/game asset pack from the real developers, Puppeteer, changed the name, and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work.

It gets worse... "Hidden Object Game Template" has also been shamelessly dumped on Steam by other asset flippers apart from BoogyGames Studios:

Take a look for yourself... it's exactly the same game!

BoogyGames Studios has shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:

The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Hidden Object Game Template" is just a template/tutorial for making simple hidden object/match puzzles, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so this copy+paste/reskin of it can't be recommended.

Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off.

Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers.

Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from BoogyGames Studios.
