I've been keeping Aquariums and all manner of different varieties of fish for over 20 years. This left me bored within 15mins. Just not enough content.

In response to the Dev:

1. The lack of content is mentioned again and again by many people people who have purchased this...probably should stop making excuses.

2. Whislt the price is low ($15AUD for me), it's no more than a Demo at this stage so that's actually pricey for something that doesn't entertain beyond an hour for most people.

3. I would happily pay double for a more fleshed out Aquarium Designer sim.

4. Final point is there actually isn't much point playing this right now because nothing is really simulated well. Basically a $15 wallpaper.

Review stands. Good luck with the project and i will check on it in a few months but with 'Fishkeeper' coming out sometime in the new year, you have some stiff competition. This could be just another 'Biotope' which has already been abandoned just 2 years later.

This game had a huge chance to be amazing, the graphics are actually really nice. However, the game play itself is awful, and that's if you even get the game to load in the first place.

Starting up the game takes so long and usually crashes from the loading screen, then if you do manage to load in, the game is laggy and controls don't work on certain things and eventually the game will close itself.

The spelling in this game is terrible and shows such a lack of effort from the devs, the information about certain fish species is also wrong, types of schooling is wrong, pH levels for 3 different fish were wrong. As an Aquascaping Artist in real life, this game is embarrassing. If people are legit following this game for Aquatic advise, please don't. Your fish will die.

Do NOT buy this game, this was a waste of money and time. Please don't release an unfinished game that is THIS bad.

After 143 hours on record and getting 100% achievements I feel like I can give a fairly complete review at this point.

This game is meant to be relaxing and creative. The campaign, though short, is fun to play through and will get you some easy achievements. I would say that the campaign teaches you what you need to know for what I consider to be the meat and potatoes of this game, realism mode. It's a very cool concept. You create and design your own unique tank, populate it with fish, and then care for them just as you would in real life. You need to make sure you feed them often, keep the tank clean, and swap out filters, when appropriate, to keep your little finny friends alive.

I found myself often popping the game onto my second monitor and leaving it running in observation mode while reading or doing other things. It gave me that same sense you get with a real fish tank. It was soothing and relaxing as a background while doing other things.

If this sounds nice to you, I say pick this game up. The devs are constantly updating it with new content so you know you're getting your money's worth.
