Has some bugs / flaws (ie: M cant be negative, spectrum is static for every state)

Atom is an early access 3D rendered atom simulator, just like it says on the box. You're presented with a reasonable facsimile of a single Hydrogen atom and the electron orbits, which you can spin around to get different views. You can add neutrons and otherwise alter the atomic structure of the atom, which results in various simulations of atomic decay. Without any specific instruction or tutorial, and without a deeper knowledge of nuclear physics than your average gamer, it's not really clear what a lot of the controls mean.

Since the game was given as a review copy, I'm obliged to provide some feedback on what would turn this from a barebones demo to a possibly recommendable game.

• PC games must have a range of tweakable graphics and control configuration options to allow the game to work well on any system, if it's brand new or 10 years old. The lack of configuration options here prevents this from being recommendable.
• Games must feature gameplay. This seems like a simple thing to say, but if there's nothing for the player to do but look, it's hard to recommend anyone should buy it because it won't occupy much of their time.
• Some kind of tutorial and explanation is needed to guide the user towards whatever activities they should be enjoying in the game. Here, it's left to the player to determine what each of the buttons do (and how to get them to display).
• If the intention here is to be more educational, it might not be a bad idea to include some education text and interactive explanations. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but there are literally millions of gamers on Steam, so surely some of them might want to know more about the humble Hydrogen atom.

What we have here is the core engine for what might one day be a game, but right now it lacks even simple gameplay loops. If the purpose is to be educational, perhaps some more atoms could be added (there's well over 200, so it's not like we're lacking inspiration for content here). Perhaps challenges could be implemented to have the gamer grow the atom, or even form simple compouds to learn about atomic bonds.
