Non-Sucky Numbers is a timed clicker where you have five seconds per round to damage enemies before their health resets, earning gold to upgrade your gear and unlock tougher opponents. The game offers an ascension mechanic to boost your stats, though player feedback suggests the exponential upgrade costs quickly outpace linear damage gains, creating a progression wall that some find discouraging. It's best suited for players who enjoy short bursts of clicking action and don't mind grinding against diminishing returns.

The costs for items scales exponentially but the effects scale linearly so the game slows to a crawl almost immediately with no reason to believe that it will get any better. Progressing to further enemies does not help because The amount of gold they give you is directly proportional to the amount of hp they have, so if you spend 5x as much time killing an enemy you can be sure that it will give you exactly 5x the amount of gold.
Also the "clicker" genre where the only real way to make progress is to give yourself RSI was a bad idea when cookie clicker did it 10 years ago, and they spent years updating the game in order to make clicking more and more optional. Whenever a game releases with spam clicking as its core mechanic for progression I have to imagine the dev just did not do any research into figuring out what makes the genre of game they are trying to make fun.
Feels like the dev made a prototype of a game just to get it functional and graphically working but then did not actually design any gameplay before releasing it.
Fixed a bug with ascension not working after doing a certain amount. Fixed a bug with save data getting corrupted after beating the game (fix is backward compatible).
