Cat's Menace casts you as a strategist orchestrating a feline uprising through mission assignments and branching choices. The dark narrative strategy hinges on sending your cats into dangerous situations and uncovering their stories as you guide the revolt toward seizing control of a city. Solo players should be aware the game lacks saves and restarts from the beginning on failure, making it grueling without external support or trial-and-error tolerance.

This game was a lot of fun to play in front of my stream audience, however playing it by myself without friends would have been a rather miserable experience, I'm afraid. The game has no save or checkpoint system, so when you have a Game Over, you have to start the entire game over from the beginning. The game operates by having you assign a cat to a task and making choices to decide whether the cats succeed or fail in the mission. The choices have no logic behind them, so it's a coin flip in deciding if you lose the cat you assigned or not. Also, it doesn't seem to matter which cats you assign to the mission. They're essentially just very cute life counters.
The only way to get through the game is to be very lucky, or to do multiple playthroughs, memorizing which choices are correct and which are incorrect.
The English translation is pretty bad as well, but it was fun reading it on stream and laughing when we came across the mistakes, but I have a feeling that's not something that the creators of the game would like to be a positive feature.
Also, some of the text disappears so quickly in transitional menus that you can't read it all.
I don't recommend this game - it's a fun concept, and I had a lot of laughs, however as a game, it barely functions in a satisfying way.
The English translation leaves much to be desired. There is no indication about the consequences of any choices you make, there are two options given and seemingly the only way to get through the game is to memorize the correct ones.
The English translation is poor and you're essentially making choices at random and then trying to memorize which ones are correct. Based on the tags, I would love this game... except the tags are a bit lofty for what the game actually is. I'm getting a refund.
