Passengers of Execution is a adventure game, where you are an officer in the homicide department and a case completely change your life.
I got this game from the developer through Steam Curator ( https://store.steampowered.com/curator/36194802/ )
Let's go from the positives: The game has a cool idea, with the whole different setup. It also changes the gameplay too, it's refreshing, interesting and sometimes quite weird... which means, the game has really good atmosphere with the awesome soundtrack and environment. The game also has a lot to explore, one play through just might not be enough.
That being said, time to say the negative aspects, starting with the story... which basically makes you think that what is going on in general. It wouldn't be a bad thing, but for me, the game completely felt like, it just left me hanging. Things happened, I have my own theory, but I don't get it why it happened or what is going on. Another big issue I think, it's the speed. The basic character speed is annoying slow at the beginning, like I don't get it why I can't run for example. Also, sometimes action detecting is tedious. Sometimes it register my action button when I have to do interaction, sometimes not and there are times when I see the interaction icon, but nothing happens. Also, some choices are just useless and I can't understand why you can choose dialog options, which does nothing. Not even mentioning the English translation, which sometimes has grammatical mistakes, missing characters or the text is not even translated, but thankfully this happened only one time. But what really made me annoyed with this game, is the platforming. I understand the basic controls from one camera view and this control just don't changes, even if the view changes, but man, sometimes I die even though I didn't touch the floor, the view makes the platforming annoying for me, the controls are not clarified throughout the game and so on.
So Passengers of Execution definitely not a perfect game, there are tons of issues with it in my opinion, and I would say it doesn't matter the time and effort to play the game... however as I can see, this is the first game of the dev(s), and the game has some kind of mood which helps it out a lot. So I would say, if you want to experience something never before, get the game on sale and I can recommend it to give it a shot. I hope the devs will make a more stable and less bugged game and use their imagination, just like they did here, but this one is not the easiest to get used to.
