I just finished the game with 100% completion so I feel qualified enough to write this review.

Palladise Island is a simple idle/clicker game in which you collect and evolve many different creatures known as PA. The core gameplay is passively waiting for silver coins to upgrade your buildings to earn more silver coins and upgrade your intimacy bar (the PA's level/XP Bar) to evolve and unlock more PAs. There is also a building that allows you a chance to randomly get rarer/more expensive items but you'll probably upgrade this last. You can also click the PAs to earn intimacy faster, thus levelling up faster.

While the game might be too simple for some, personally, I really enjoyed the balance between passive idle gameplay and interactive clicker and upgrading gameplay. I will mention that the idle aspect only works if the game is open, however, it doesn't take much to run so you can easily have it on in the background while doing something else.

The designs of the PAs are very varied and well drawn with some interesting themes and they always kept me excited to unlock and evolve more. The music and sound design is also very well done.

The achievements were also very reasonable and took a bit of grinding but not too much that things felt monotonous and made me want to stop going for them.

Overall, for the price, the game is well worth the money. It might be simple but it's worth it just to see the different PAs designs and have a game to chill and zone out with!

Palladise Island seems fun. But idk if I can recommend.

The Game does not allow me to upgrade buildings past lvl 3. It says it cost 3 gold. And I have well over 100 but it doesn't work.

Also my enjoyment / progression was ruined. I saved up 100 gold to unlock a new pet. And then when it said pay 100 gold to unlock I clicked yes. It unlocked the pet, and did not take my gold. I tried unlocking a pet that required 1500 gold and it unlocked when I did not meet the requirement. But I am unable to level up buildings that require 3 gold to level up.

Tried verifying game files and still broken. Big sadge. Was fun until progression got ruined.

Edited review to Recommend. For the price point it was fun. Just wished some of the mechanics actually worked.

Edit 2: A few things learned from google translating non-English reviews. The currency for unlocking new pets is actually silver. The G used is confusing. DEV please change the G to S in the English version since G makes the player think of Gold and not silver.

Also, to unlock the BGM achievements BGM must be enabled.

If you are unable to unlock any more PAs with the boxes, select the PA before an empty slot and try evolving it with evolution materials found in the store. I.e. the flower girls that max at LVL 20 evolve into a LVL 50 creature when you feed them different colored flowers from the shop.

"Mandala-Yellow
Lagerstroemia-Safflower
Jasmine-Green Flower
Narcissus-
Small blue ant-particle/photon → two evolutionary results
Coke fly-chicken nuggets / burger/fries → three evolutionary results
Big ear cat-yellow claws / green claws / blue claws / red claws → four evolutionary results"

Nintendo SD window size (bigger than gameboy, smaller than DS). You can't change it. There is nothing to do, or see here. Your chosen monster wanders from one screen to another every 5 minutes(ish). You raise them by feeding and spending time with it. You get money by buying real estate, and collection happens automatically. You cannot visit purchased lots.

It's very boring!
