I just finished the game with 100% completion so I feel qualified enough to write this review.
Palladise Island is a simple idle/clicker game in which you collect and evolve many different creatures known as PA. The core gameplay is passively waiting for silver coins to upgrade your buildings to earn more silver coins and upgrade your intimacy bar (the PA's level/XP Bar) to evolve and unlock more PAs. There is also a building that allows you a chance to randomly get rarer/more expensive items but you'll probably upgrade this last. You can also click the PAs to earn intimacy faster, thus levelling up faster.
While the game might be too simple for some, personally, I really enjoyed the balance between passive idle gameplay and interactive clicker and upgrading gameplay. I will mention that the idle aspect only works if the game is open, however, it doesn't take much to run so you can easily have it on in the background while doing something else.
The designs of the PAs are very varied and well drawn with some interesting themes and they always kept me excited to unlock and evolve more. The music and sound design is also very well done.
The achievements were also very reasonable and took a bit of grinding but not too much that things felt monotonous and made me want to stop going for them.
Overall, for the price, the game is well worth the money. It might be simple but it's worth it just to see the different PAs designs and have a game to chill and zone out with!
