Somewhere in a dark Future, in a World ruled by Corporations, plagued by corrupt Police and Gang Wars you, the mysterious Fiend, are hired by one Corporation to test new Technology. Thats also your Chance to clean this World from the Scum that infested it.

UNSHADED is a very cool and bloody Retrogame.
Instead of shooting your way through your Enemies, you have to use Tactics to get past them. Each of them is marked at the Border, so you have a clue where they are. Your Enemies have Directions they are looking and moving. You can overcome each of them attacking from the Back, killing them. Instant!
And you will need to, because if an Enemy sees you, you have to fight and then you loose Energy and you have only one Life. You can replay every Level but inside you have just one Life. And that can be also loose by walking on Mines or beeing shot. So , be careful. Each Level has much opportunities for hiding and getting back in Stealth Mode, after beeing spotted.

Finishing Levels will give you a Score. The better you are, the more Points you get, which is necessery to unlock Skills that will help you mastering all the Levels.

The Game is starting easy, showing you how to proceed. Your getting Missions like killing or bombing something. It can be also to get or reach something. The Levels (100!) are getting bigger and bigger and more challenging the farer you come. Challenging but never unfair. Everytime i died it was my own fault not beeing attentive enough.

There is also a little but exciting Story included that continues via Dialog between the Actors of this Game. Learn about your Fiend and his Motivations.

The Graphics are wonderfull Old School, while some parts look really modern, like big explosions and yes this Game has R-Rated Content, the Stealth Killing ist really brutal but typical Pixel Style. The Sounds and Music fit perfectly in and all together you have a really fun and addicting Game. It has the legendary "Just one more Level" addicting Effect.

To be honest, normally i don´t like Stealth Games, i like the directly Way. Fire and Forget. But very suprisly i have very much fun with this One and i have to give the Developer a very, very big Thanks for taking me into a Cyberninja Costume for this one. Thanks.

Amazing old style graphics and animation design , brings me faar back in time.
I loved the Stealth elements, the music and how the AI enters in it's own traps and explodes into pieces.

I definetely recommend the game , and guarantee that you will enjoy playing it and listening to some nice music in the main menu and between the levels.

The developer did amazing job !

I can suggest a few things that possibly can be changed for the game:

1. The Cutscenes UI is too big and there are some grammar mistakes but this can be fixed. (For example UI for the conversations can be put down at the bottom and as background the portal on the other side : base, corporation office or whatever suits it ^^)

2. Adding more levels will be a big plus, as it gets harder up in the chain, or maybe second stage with another 100 levels , who knows what awaits in the future!

Its a shame this game seems be so underground, at least from judging the amount of reviews.

This game has some of the best stealth action I've seen since Mark of the Ninja. There's so many interesting tools to abilities and the AI acts pretty dynamically so as a result you can have levels play out in different ways even if you use the same tools. When you get in the zone it's really fun to rack up a high combo and pull off moves you'd see in some anime action scene.

My only criticism is that the game feels a bit bloated with 100 levels, I had to take a break for a few months before completing the second half of the game. Things will start to feel samey and repetitive even with the dynamic AI and tools.

I do appreciate that we got 100 levels, I think it would be better if some of those levels were moved to a bonus level section so the pacing of the main story feels better.
