Another indie project in the "horror" genre - this time from an independent Belarusian developer Igor Migun.

The plot of the game is reminiscent of Outlast - the hero-journalist goes to the hospital, which was occupied by the police. This is because the police station received a strange call, according to which a series of murders took place in the Hospital. And you will try to let as many people as possible know about this incident.
From the first minutes of the game we will be greeted by a very dark picture that plays several roles. Firstly, it hides the unevenness and roughness of the graphics, secondly, it keeps the player in suspense, without revealing what is happening a few meters in front of him, and thirdly, it strains the player's eyes very much. Because of what I could not complete the game in one sitting. I had to take breaks for a couple of hours so that my eyes could rest from the constant dark environment, followed by bright flashes of light.

By the way, due to the abundance of bright flashes and flashing lights on some levels, the game is not recommended for epileptics. But the developer forgot to specify this at the beginning of the game, so if you suddenly have a seizure, I warned you (but the developer didn't).

The gameplay is simple and as I said above - similar to Outlast. We have a small inventory in which we will store the items we need to solve simple problems of selecting codes for doors. And so that the player does not get lost in the world of darkness, we will have a flashlight. Which sits down pretty quickly, and therefore the player needs to be careful about the presence of batteries in his pockets.
The flashlight not only illuminates the path of the hero - but also betrays his presence to some of the monsters that we will meet in the game. Remarkably, players could see some opponents in other indie projects, though not this developer. Why can I assume that free models were used here. But it was nice to meet the nurses from Silent Hill. I got really nostalgic and stared at them for a few minutes.

Each enemy is unique, has its own attack on the character, movement speed and sounds. Therefore, hiding from the patrolling monster in the closet, you can determine by the sound how far it is from you.

Since I'm talking about sound - the game has an excellent musical component. Sounds in the background constantly keep the player in suspense, creating a mysterious atmosphere. It is clear that the developer tried. True, some of the attack sounds of opponents are too loud. Because of what you can just jump on the spot and even get scared.
Igor played well on the player's fear. In fact, there are no cheap screamers here - which many developers like to insert on the whole screen so much. Each "screamer" in the game is verified and really makes you afraid of its appearance. Together with background sounds - it's just a bomb!

But despite the fact that the developer is Belarusian and communicates in Russian in the discussions for the game, there are no third-party translations in the game other than English. For the concept of the plot and notes, the basic (school) level of knowledge of English is enough for you, but I was a little upset.

Pros:
  • + Pleasing to the eye picture
  • + Great screamers
  • + Perfectly selected background music and sounds for the game
  • + The game was released recently - but already has a good discount
  • + Multiple game endings

Minuses:
  • - Several glitches and bugs
  • - Lack of Russian language

Total:
The first indie project in the "horror" genre that could scare me. The game is really worth it to buy and play it. A fairly simple and linear story, it will take an average of an hour and a half to complete. The lack of "difficult" tasks was a little disappointing - as the player often has to run from door to door waiting for the script to work, or sneak behind a monster in order to pass a certain part of the location.
However, I highly recommend this game for purchase. Well, if you are the owner of steel eggs and a VR helmet, then you should look at the VR version of this game.
