Okay so while this game might not look like much because of its pixelated graphics. That's actually a good thing.

This game is legit. I can't sing it's praises enough.

Is it next gen? Nah

Is it something you can't miss? Nah.

But you would still be doing yourself a disservice by not checking it out.

You're island shrinks slowly but surely and you needed to accomplish enough objectives so you can move on to the next island, rinse and repeat. Now while it sounds simple and hell...the gameplay is pretty simple for the most part. The game is so well made that I can't get mad at it.

It's addictive, it's engaging, it's mysterious, it's challenging (But in a good way) and overall it's just really fun.
Probably 6-12 hours of gameplay here (depending on how much you wanna play or accomplish) and for 13 dollars, this kind of gameplay and stability it's a great offer.

I Highly recommend this game and even if this isn't normally your type of game I'd still recommend you check it out.
It's a resource gathering, upgrade buildings and build up defenses against pirates kinda game. It plays really well, has a decent tutorial and a decent story with everything else about this game being almost perfect for what kind of game it is.

What you see in the first hour of the game is basically what you see for the entire game. The gameplay isn't interesting, and doesn't change throughout the campaign--despite adding a few structures that are very situational. The story, characters, and music really are not a draw either. This feels overpriced at $13 USD, and after two hours of wearing out its welcome, I finished it just to see if it got better. It didn't.

Why is does this game has a pause if you can't do anything while in pause ?
Why does this game introduce mechanics that destroys your building BEFORE introducing you to how you can deal with it ?
Why can't I specify that I want my quarry/forrester to use only my exces water instead of running everything dry and stopping my entire economy ?
Why is there a cookie-clicker type mecanics in this game ?
Why do I have access to technologies for stuff that have not even yet been introduced to me ?
WHY. DOES. EVERYTHING. LAG. SO. MUCH. I had to lower every graphic settings for this game to be remotely playable, and even then I can't open the upgrade menu without having a single digit FPS.

This game could be very interesing, ableit quite simple, if it did not have so many issues.
