From Embers is a survival city-builder that tracks individual villagers across four ages, complete with names, families, and recorded deaths. You manage resource gathering, weather threats, and raids while building toward a prestige system that carries forward character legacies to subsequent playthroughs. It rewards both active engagement and passive progression, though performance optimization remains a work in progress.

There is so much going for this game I can't wait to see where its going to go in the future. Not many games lock in both price and content. Simple to play and pick up while being a passive game you don't feel like you got to lock in on. Full Review here: https://youtu.be/KMrgdS4QOqY
Too much lag from memory leaks or the fact that it is trying to keep track of every single bush, tree, mob, person, etc. There is infinite amounts of every resource and it still tries to keep track of how much wood is left on every tree or how many berries are on every bush, when all that is completely unnecessary since nothing is ever destroyed. A huge land mass when you only use maybe 15% of it. Needs some serious rework before I come back to this. Otherwise, it's a fun little game...when you can play it.
New update makes game worse than it was. Devs not listening to players at all.
This was a rather large update, making modifications to the UI, system balancing, adding the option of changing difficulty and some much needed guidance in the beginning. Thanks for playing!
