About This Game

Beautiful camp where you can relax, listen to lo-fi&chill style music, or use focus and task decomposition to help you finish your work.

This game definitely has potential in it, especially well for the purpose it holds. The game is of less than an GB of disk space requiring , so in case you feel like it may look like even close to that, it's not - at least not yet. So to the ones who don't know yet, what is this game about? It's simple. This game aims to give you an somewhat LoFi aesthetic while being 'productive' as I have determined by the theme of setting up "Focus" and tasks inside that 'focus' workspace you create with also a bit of music the developer has chosen to put and allowed us to change from the particular given variety. (Game's just started developing lol. Of course it isn't that diverse as for yet.) Technically and practically, just like in life you create a deadline for a particular area to put your focus on with side-activities to ensure are happening (tasks lol), the game does just that. With a bit of music as well as a few graphics you can also change through.. Overall good, of course few bugs needin' to be squashed here and there but so far, no over the top annoying ones to be bothered about - the game serves it's purpose regardless. Recommended if you're interested. For the Dev: Awesome work. As I said earlier, this game has more potential towards it and there is definitely things you can consider adding in the future/current updates. An example of an bug is one which already the few players who've played the game have identified aka the achievement 'Start Focus' which was partially fixed in the recent update but not entirely, you still have to either Alt+F4 the game (if you're full-screen) or just close it from Windowed-mode to attain it meanwhile you're actually supposed to get the achievement right when you write the focus's name and set the focus. This is something that should definitely be worked on as well as the fact that there isn't any option on full-screen to close the game. Also, another thing to specify is that when you click on 'Setting' (missing the 's' but meh I'm just nit-picking lol.) and if you go to the Info tab, it says Apply in the bottom right of the window? Which is also the only escape from the settings window. There should be a closing window button too on the top right corner. Not nit-picking on this one but the graphics can definitely be improved, especially the anti-aliasing at least? For instance, the stars in the sky as for the background of the camp with the campfire at night. There should also be more graphical options to tweak or mess around with, especially the v-sync although of course a purpose of productivity for such a game, I'm not having much backbone on suggesting that graphical option but still, for the sake of it try to get it as one of the feature as I had my eyes on the FPS and what was weird was on the Low and the High settings my FPS would be locked to 60 and while on medium it would go till what my monitor allows which is 144. And there should also be an display resolution setting which is probably one of the most important ones to have. Anti-aliasing won't be such an issue to be bothered if you managed to allow changing the resolution manually as it'd help people on both sides. Specifically me as I could use Virtual Super Resolution to upscale the game till 3840x2160 resolution to achieve better visuals. There should be more achievements, time-related for sure such as for example - Set an Focus for 2 hours and go through it, Complete 60 tasks in a 7 day focus (with offline progress too if it is possible) and etc. Otherwise other feedback and recommendations shall also come meanwhile the time more people download and play your game, which they definitely will. More so when an update even as minor as partially fixing the achievement bug was released - keep up with the pace, keep up with the developing so that when the forthcoming day comes, it is one of the greatest. Good luck! :)

Another helper program that is ready to work in the background while you do some business. As in Virtual Cottage, the user can create a task, specify the time after which the execution timer should work and start the lesson. It doesn't matter what it is: reading a book, writing a dissertation, preparing lessons for school, or writing an unnecessary review of this program for anyone. While the application is running, the user can set the background music by selecting an album (from those provided) that matches his mood. You can also choose the scene that will be displayed on the screen, and background sounds - rain, snow, fire or birdsong. Unlike Virtual Cottage - the game is made on the unity engine. Pros:

+ Availability: the app is free
+ Achievement - one, but there is.
+ Multiple music albums
+ Multiple scenes
Minuses:

- Lack of volume control for background sounds.
- The pointlessness of turning on ALL background sounds at the same time
- Empty world.
- Graphic arts
Total: The application is ready to replace the Virtual Cottage, but, as for me, falls short of it.

In 3 Words? Yea Well Okay Edit (08/02/2025) It’s true what one reviewer pointed out, Camp Focus can really make a laptop heat up a bit. I’ve tested it on several devices by now, so be careful with it and don’t let it run for too long. While we’re at it, it’s barely keeping its thumbs-up and only because it’s free. There are a few things that really aren’t great. Just to name a few: the rain sound is identical to the snow sound and honestly sounds like it was recorded with a bad microphone inside a car with the radio on in the background. I’m not even joking, you can actually hear something playing in there. Not the same with the fire ambience but it happens again with the birdsong, strange extra sounds layered in which don’t belong, and the loop has a noticeable hiccup. Honestly, that alone would be enough for a thumbs-down. But: Yea Well Okay.
