Wow, I just finished my playthrough of Watashi Suzume and I really enjoyed myself. Sure the pacing at times made some parts a little boring for me, so there is still some possibility for improvements with the writing, but even then, this it still has quite good writing. It also has a lovely story, that highlights how important friendship is for us, both in happiness and sadness. This VN is a great example to everyone that indie studios can also produce high quality VNs. The art is great honestly and the music and sound effects are quite good. The game also has some unique features, like giving the option of asking Suzume about her relationship with the mc, to find out if you are picking the correct choices. It also has a few minor point and click parts where you need to find a few spots on the screen. Those parts arent hard at all, but they are a nice little break from the rest. The grammer and spelling is also perfect and you certainly wont have the problem of losing your reading groove because of broken english.
The only thing I had at one point was that Ren'py threw me an exception, but just ignoring it let me continue playing without missing anything.
Overall, a very decent VN that will most likely get you to shed a few tears. Considering the low price and the length and general quality you really cant go wrong with giving this VN a try.
