Warning - Asset Flip!

The third release from Simple Logic Games is yet another asset flip. The "developer" took Stop the Lock by AppAdvisory and released it on Steam without any kind of modification.

As it's merely a bare bones template there's not much here. At its core it's a simple reaction game for mobile audiences which has not been made or optimized for PC at all. There's no menu, no settings, nothing. Even though it's released on Steam there has been no attempt made to even implement Steam features.

As mentioned before this is standard for this "developer" who has released nothing but asset flips so far. Don't support their unethical behaviour by buying this "game". You're not missing out on anything anyway.

Warning: Asset Flip!

Pick The Lock is a Unity Asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", beans rolls/Simple Logic Games, took the Stop The Lock Unity Store tutorial/demo/game asset pack from the real developers, App Advisory, changed the name, and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work.

beans rolls/Simple Logic Games has shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:

The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Stop The Lock" is just a simple mobile app demo for a golf-swing reflexes game, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so a copy+paste of it can't be recommended.

Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off.

Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers.

Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from beans rolls/Simple Logic Games.

Unfortunately it is an asset flip of this game > https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/templates/packs/stop-the-lock-52112
Can we say they paid $68 to then port it on Steam and basically steal the money ?
Also there is no save, no level, no nothing..
