HELLO!2 months ago I released Gelli Fields, the game I spent years working on into the world. Since then nearly 450 people have purchased the game. I've gotten a ton of positive feedback on the game but there's one thing that sticks out to me. People want MORE. And I realized here on Steam I haven't truly talked about what's next for Gelli Fields so to celebrate 2 months I thought I'd share what all the game has in store!Coming Soon to a Field Near YouThe soonest thing to arrive to the fields is the Hingewood Heights update. You've read about it and seen glimpses in the research notes I've been posting weekly(kinda.) In case you don't know this update includes these things and moreNew biome: Hingewood Heights A mysterious stranger invites you to to meet them in an overgrown forest where nature and technology merge as one. Use the crafting mechanic to fuse crops with mechanical parts and create retro video game inspired variant crops!New Gellis: 6 New gellis arrive in this update! One really stands out from the rest though!The Prince Gelli: This gelli is rarely seen in Hingewood Heights. Their name is randomly chosen from those who purchase merch for the Prince Gelli drop!Prince Gelli Merch Drop: If you didn't know, Gelli Fields has merch! for this update new merch drops with a hoodie and holographic stickers! There is is a limited quantity of 50 stickers and those who purchase can submit a name for the Prince Gelli that will appear in game!Supporter Pack For those who want to support the project a supporter pack DLC is coming with this update. Hi everyone!Gelli Fields has always been intended to be a bang for your buck kind of game. The thing you see on discount and think "hey might as well" and that's what sucks you in to becoming gelli obsessed. So to start that off I'm discounting the game 55% off so more people get to experience Gelli Fields! Based on the percentages of achievements completed there's still a lot to explore in the game that people haven't discovered yet but there's definitely still more to come.Hingewood HeightsThe Hingewood Heights update is still coming along well! It's a huge update that changes core parts of the game so I hope you're excited. Here's a little look into what I've been up to. Completing a new quest at the bulletin board will award you with the first cursor skin: the gelli cursor!There will be several more of these cursors to unlock in this update!After completing Hingewood Heights some changes happen to Rocky Retreat...some say there's talk of a lunal chest appearing there!Whatever it may be, destroying this corrupt rock seems like the best idea.(WIP visuals)Work on the biome AFTER Hingewood Heights is still in the works. Not only does this update drop a lush and packed full traditional biome it also includes this brand new Wandering Woods biome that plays a little bit differently than you're used to. Before entering you choose your difficulty. This is a more familiar roguelike experience with failure likely. Hello everyone!Hingewood Heights development is going really well, I'm so excited for you all to see this new biome and get to experience it. There's still a little ways to go on this next update since it's a big one but I'm going to show you how progress has been going so you know what to look forward to!Inputting the numbers on the computer monitor will give you rare items!The hammer is one of these rare items and can be used in a crafting recipe to get a friendship item!Placing two items onto the crafting table can make some really cool combinations like rare crop variants!New Secret BiomeThe Wandering Woods biome has started development. This biome wraps up the chapter 1 story arc and is a very special biome. This one is for those of you who like a challenge and want a more traditional roguelike experience with the option to lose.New QuestsNew quests will be available in the bulletin board with one being a lunal chest in Rocky Retreat.
