Hello everyone! I just posted a new video devlog on Youtube for Gelli Fields. This video has a little look into some of the bigger things I've been working on in the last 6 months. Please check it out! I'm also going to answer a few questions about the game in this post as well. Where has the game been?Gelli Fields has continued development since the last post but due to personal issues over the last year I've had trouble organizing what all I've worked on which is unacceptable and I really apologize. I've not given up on the project or lost passion and I would like to keep up with more frequent updates to keep the community in the loop.When is launch?I'm working hard to launch the game as quickly as I can without rushing the project. I recently made the decision to lower the amount of biomes at launch to 4 instead of 6 so players can get their hands on the project much sooner. I would love to launch the game in spring or summer of 2026 and that's what I'm trying to aim for.Thanks for the support!I'm so thankful for everyone who is interested in the project. Hello everyone! Today we have a HUGE update to Gelli Fields for you all! I have been working on this update for months now and finally finished it. This is meant to be a better representation of what Gelli Fields will be like in the full game. I also want to share that Gelli Fields now has a Kickstarter! You can get some really cool rewards for backing and also there's early bird copies you can get at a discount! Check out the page here https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/wonderpond/gelli-fields-cozy-farming-game/ There were SO many changes in this version of the game that I couldn't give a full changelog but I'll write down some of the main points for you! New activity: Fishing! You can fish in each biome and the train station as well! Each biome has rare fishing loot, so have fun finding all the different items! Star rank changes Star rank is now more useful! There's a bunch of new amenities in the train station and even ones that relate to specific biomes. -Lunapon machine amenity: Increases starting lunapons and how many you get per level up. -Corruption ATK+: Increases damage done to corruption There will be a ton more amenities in the full game this is just a preview of what you can expect. Biome completion rewards Now when you complete a biome your glim is converted into star rank. This means it's best to save a ton of glim right before you beat the corruption to get the max amount of star rank! Critter changes There is now not a critter sell box, instead you drop all items into the normal sell box. Rocky Retreat changes Rocky Retreat has been changed a ton. Here are some of the highlights -Train carts now drive by and sometimes contain loot. -New crop has been added to the gift shop. -New minigame has been added: Mossy Stone Mining. -New rare items have been added. Quality of life changes I have done a TON of work on making sure the game plays as smoothly as possible. From changing text sizes, to zooming out the camera to where the player previously was aft...
