Cooking Live is a mobile cooking simulator dressed up as a PC game, built around serving customers and completing level-based challenges. The progression relies on an energy system and premium currency for essential upgrades and boosters, with difficulty ramping designed to push players toward spending real money once free resources dry up. Best suited for those seeking a brief casual distraction rather than meaningful long-term gameplay.
About this game
Hello everyone! My name is Jane, and I need your help! I travel around the world and create a blog about local restaurants and cuisine. I’ve seen how big corporations squeeze out talented local cooks and their restaurants! Let’s take matters into our own hands and give them back their zest for life!

No one mentioned that it’s a mobile game pretending to be a PC game.
There’s an energy system, if you are out of “food” then you either have to wait until it's full again or buy it with real money, otherwise you can’t play. There’s a premium currency, which is needed for upgrades that you need to keep playing, and boosts that you will also need later on because levels get way too difficult without them.
It's the usual routine. Run out of currency for upgrades/boosts, levels become too hard without upgrades/boosts, you waste energy by trying to make it, then run out of energy and can’t play anymore at all.
Good for an hour or so if you're bored but nothing beyond that. I pushed into level 20 something and it became readily apparent that the game was designed in such a way as to force you to pay real money if you wish to continue playing. You will eventually hit a point where you cannot progress past a level without using boosters to meet the goal, they give you a few freebies early on but they run out pretty quick. This is predatory game development at it's worst. Enjoy the bit of playtime you can get for free but don't give these people any of your money. We need to show these types of developers that their business model is not successful or sustainable, otherwise they just keep doing it.
Jane has been invited to showcase her incredible cooking skills on the TV show "Cooking Strike"! To prove she’s ready, she must complete five levels in a row. As you progress through the challenge, the TV crew will upgrade your kitchen with professional equipment. Be careful—failing a level resets your progress, and you'll have to start from the beginning. But don’t worry, you can try as many times as you like! The show is covering all the food costs, so your supplies remain untouched. Complete all five levels to earn a major reward, including booster parts, Coins, Rubies, and blog points! If you don’t finish before the event ends, no problem—you won’t lose anything, and another TV opportunity will come soon! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43157681/d1198ebfa8ac8ada29368de0cfcbd839e694b254.png
