A laid-back hidden object game set underwater where you search for 100 turtles across hand-drawn scenes that transition from black-and-white to color. The straightforward puzzle design and relaxed pacing make it accessible for achievement hunters and fans of the genre seeking a low-pressure palette cleanser between longer games.

In the meantime, as far as I can remember, I've played all of Anatoliy Loginovskikh's Hidden Object Games.
I like the concept and the games are a good change for in between, even if they don't last too long and aren't always a really big challenge.

Since Anatoliy's repertoire is now quite large, I have only written one representative review so far and the rest on my curators page with a short description added, since the games usually only differ in the objects to be searched for and so far all have been kept in black and white and static.

With 100 hidden turtles the concept has now changed.

What starts out as black and white soon becomes colorful and comes alive with moving objects, but that doesn't mean finding the turtles to be found is any easier.

Another new feature worth mentioning is that in the image that you move with the mouse up or down along the edge of the image, you can / must click on objects that lead to another small place outside the main image to look for more turtles there.

But is it worth buying ?

I think yes, and if you like this kind of entertaining games or have already played one or the other hidden object game, 100 hidden turtles is the right place for you.
If you are not sure, you can try 100 hidden frogs because the game, even if it's in black and white, it's free to play.

Furthermore, the game offers the possibility to reset all achievements and start over if you wish.

At the time of review, the game still has the status "Steam is learning about this game", which means that the achievements are not yet included in the profile statistics and the game does not count as a perfect game, provided that you have of course 100% completed .

I have already written short reviews for Anatoliy Loginovskikh's games that are all about finding 100 hidden items. 2021 was very busy but he released fewer products this year. I'm thinking the main reason for it is the work he's been doing on 1000 hidden snails which appears to be a much bigger project than the rest of his titles.

In any case, focusing on 100 hidden turtles what we notice is how colourful the game gets after we open a treasure chest at the bottom of the sea. In general, Anatoliy's games are black and white which makes it easier to notice areas with missing hidden items as those we find get immediately highlighted by a specific colour.

Still, I appreciated a change of concept here. Previously, we saw bigger "playable" areas and while this is now smaller it looks better due to the aforementioned colours and the animation, too. Remember to look for places of transition - clickable objects that take us elsewhere to continue the hunt for more hidden items. I will say no more - you can start with this if you haven't tried anything from the series before.
