Energy Collector strips idler mechanics down to their essentials: harvest energy across multiple fields, shuffle resources between areas to afford upgrades, and prestige to reset for exponential gains. The core tension is managing automation's slow arrival while juggling frequent check-ins to keep production flowing. Best suited for players who enjoy resource management puzzles but may frustrate those seeking deeper engagement or true offline progression.

I had the chance to play this game just before release. Check the Videos section of the Community Hub.
I played until Prestige. I found the game original. It's hard to achieve in this sea of incremental games.
There are multiple areas where you collect multiple types of energy. Those serve as currency to buy upgrades. You have to transfer energy from area to area because some upgrades cost more than 1 type of energy. So far I had access to yellow, blue and red.
The tutorial is very clear and follows the direction you would normally take if you were to play alone.
You have a companion that has an upgrade tree.
Prestige gives you stats boosts depending on how much of each type of energy you have in the Hub.
There are quests too, but I did not reach that point. And 500+ in-game achievements, 100 Steam achievements.
It's a neat game but ultimately demands attention too often for me to recommend it.
There isn't enough to do to play it actively, but you also don't make much progress without checking back every few minutes to start the next upgrades running. The automation upgrades come way too slowly to alleviate this. The quest and exploration timers contribute to the feeling that you must come back at 15 minute intervals to properly progress.
Additionally the pipe/transfer mechanic, while interesting at first, also becomes tedious quickly as you have to keep micromanaging the levels in the connected zones with the capacity caps.
